I have seen King Crimson 5 times, all here in Nashville 1974,1995,2000,2001and 2019. Also was lucky enough to have seen Adrian playng in the club in a band called Sweetheart where he was discovered by Frank Zappa.
Thank you so much for checking out the video! That's amazing! I've only had the opportunity to see them live once, but it was definitely an eternally memorable experience!
Love this album. Especially Level 5 and Deception of the Thrush. Adrian looks like a crazy serial killer, don't you think? The antithesis of Bob Fripp's subdued intricate control.
It suddenly struck me that the instrumental part of this song reminds me of Yes (with a Frippian spin on it). I’ve listened to this album since it came out, and never notice that before.
my first KC live experience was them opening for tool... yeah i know, seems backwards, but it was still amazing. danny carey came out and played Red with them. fripp came out to play a few songs with tool (sober intro into disposition / reflection). if you are able to, give the newer version of this song (sans vocals, with mel collins taking that space with his horns)
If not already in the works, have a listen to KC when Bill Bruford was on the drumkit: Larks’ Tongues in Aspic, Starless and Bible Black, Red, and Discipline. Epic music and musicianship.
I love the king and have it in my favourites, and is hard to choose wich album is the top. The group with Adrian, to me, is the most well rounded version of KC. Congrats for the video
Ah! I'm getting it: You choose live versions only and don't get blocked(?). Fripp is a genious in everything but two decisions (to my knowledge) 1. Having reactions blocked 2. Leaving Belew behind for his last rounds of touring...
Dude, I couldn't agree more. I absolutely LOVE Fripp and Crimson (they are one of my very favorite bands ever); and I would love to do more content on them, but yes, unfortunately he's a stickler about that. It really sucks because I'd like to help ensure that their incredible music stays relevant to the generations ahead of us (though I know they need very little of my help for that lol). Oh well, maybe one day he'll come around and see that not all of us are merely trying to mooch off of the hard work of other artists, but merely trying to help give it the praise and attention it deserves.
I'd love to do more King Crimson reactions as a huge fan of theirs -- however they are very strict with their copyright and will block any reaction video surrounding a song off of their one of their studio albums. My reaction to 'Fracture' was blocked before it ever got to air.
@@JonathonThamesMusic that's true!! First of all: Sorry for my bad written English. My group (King Crimson Italia) is in contact with Fripp and the DGMlive crew....did you ever try to write them , asking if you can do this or that? Fripp Is a particular Kind of person....maybe he give you his "yes, you can". Who knows.... What i can say Is that crimheads like me want MORE KC REACTION! 😁 After all this ...great job, your Channel Is very good!
@@arnesaknussemm7294 Thank you so much for the extremely kind words! Oh wow that's incredible! I never was able to find a method of contacting Robert Fripp or anyone who was responsible for handling the rights, but I would absolutely love to reach out to someone to see if I could acquire permission to do more reactions of their songs because they are one of my very favorite bands of all time. What is the best way you know of for me to get in touch with someone?
King Crimson ❤️ forever

Breathtaking in its scope. Joyous even!
A King Crimson masterpiece
Saw them live several times with Belew, Levin, Bruford. Absolutely incredible musicianship and sick talent.
