Which one would u pick in terms of bass performance??
I choose JBL FLIP6. Because the bass is very good.
dont mess with sony, the SRS XB30 won!! a monstrous speaker
I am a jbl user, but the sony won
I compared my 6 & 7 year old xb30s with my wife's new Flip 5. The Sonys win on volume & bass. The JBL mid/upper frequency peaks give it a more open, but sometimes sibilant sound, while the xb30s are more neutral & bass heavy (with extra bass on). Amazing, all 3 of my xb30s are used daily & still work perfectly. The original batteries still drive them at high volume for at least 6 hours (I haven't needed more than that lately, but will test it some day). I've never heard of JBL batteries lasting that long. When I pair 2 in stereo & seperate them a proper distance, , the sound & synergy is amazing for their size. Pairing all 3 at larger outdoor events arguably matches or exceeds the volume of my JBL Boombox 2 (which wins on deeper, more accurate & satisfying bass, regardless of volume). I'll replace the SB30 batteries when the time comes, & keep rocking them! Kudos to Sony for building these to last. I've also already watched videos to replace my Boombox 2 (released 3 yrs ago) batteries, if it still works when the time comes. 😂
Srs xb30 rocks
Both are awesome speakers. I compared my 6 year old xb30s with my wife's new Flip 5. Sonys have more accurate, real bass to my ears (due to larger drivers?), while the JBLs have more of a "one note bass" from their 2 (vs one) radiators. The JBL mid/upper frequency peaks give it a more open (but sibilant to some) sound, while the xb30s are more neutral & bass heavy (with extra bass on).
Amazingly, all 3 of my (circa 2017) xb30s are used for hours daily (music & podcasts) & still work perfectly. The original batteries still drive them at high volume for at least 6 hours straight (I haven't needed more than that lately, but will test it some day). From friends & online accounts, I doubt the JBL batteries will last 6 years.
When I pair 2 sb30s in stereo & seperate them a proper distance, , the sound & synergy is amazing (stereo adds so much over mono) for their size! Pairing all 3 at larger gatherings arguably matches or exceeds the volume of my JBL Boombox 2 (which is in a different class & wins on deeper, more accurate bass, and more detailed highs regardless of volume). I'll replace the SB30 batteries when the time comes, & keep rocking them as long as possible!
I've also already watched videos on replacing my newish Boombox 2 (released only 3 yrs ago) batteries, (if it's still working) when the time comes.
Jbl for me more bass
Yes. Sony has boomy bass vs jbl deepbass
I already think otherwise, my friend has a JBL Flip 6 and I found the sound to be very "dry"
Los que dicen que tiene mas bajo es por que el sony tiene el radiador de frente y el jbl los tiene de lado eso es el tema ademas el micrófono esta de frente 😃
Sony
Sony speakers are also good !!
Tengo ambos parlantes, me quedo con el jbl, el sony tiene mas bass pero poco medios y casi nada de agudos..
