I have known this work since the early 1980's but haven't seen Schchedrin perform it. This is great to see. A wonderful composer and by the looks of it a damned fine performer to boot.
This recording was available on LP and CD for decades.It is a damn perfect performance.Unbelivable perfect and the best recording of this very fine concerto up to day.

Knap werk zowel als compositie als qua uitvoering: Shchedrin is een groot composer helaas vrij onbekend (miskend?) in het Westen.
