I guess the question from me would be (as I don't play the guitar), what would the difference be (other than the year) between a 60's les paul/strat and one of the two bought today? Like, is there particular tones or feelings that you can only get from an older guitar, and vice versa?
I sort of covered that in the video. So many factors go into creating tone. Change your speaker and the tone will radically change. I have plenty of new instruments and I love them. Some of these vintage guitars just had a quality to them. They felt great in my hands. But really, it's such a personal thing.
Another cool video man! Looks like a great time!
Thnx Jon! Was a really fun day! Though wish I was able to plug them in!!
Same birth year! Gotta play some kind of a 69 someday or own one.
You know it’s Canadian when Godo is there.

I put together strat for 100 bucks sounds and plays great. I would buy house for my awesome guitar.
