Quick question.....does each device get an ip or the hub only gets an ip? Just trying to figure out if the hub is required for these devices to work or will a better router rule out the hub?

Thanks ***** - I actually installed a Wink Hub for my mother-in-law along with a Kidde smoke alarm. Gotta say that it's really cool. The neat part is that I can be notified on my phone if her smoke alarm is going off. So now I'm thinking of getting a hub for my parents :D

Yah, the smoke alarm feature is really cool and helps family members keep tabs on each other. I'm totally getting this setup for my mom and dad :D

ya, that totally sucks and we wouldn’t recommend using their system for that reason. Plus the sent the email on Mother’s Day at 7 am EST. Not cool
