They're also about playing games with your friends, and having fun.
So we wanted to take a moment to celebrate the moments from this tournament that just made us laugh.

As funny and random as these are, these is actually why I love FGC esports more than any other esports.
They never take themselves way too seriously. The spirit of arcade playful silliness are still there despite the fgc growing to the main stage.

Biggest fighting game tournament in the world.
It's the super bowl of fighting games in Las Vegas every year
Biggest FGC tournament of the year, kinda like League has Worlds and Dota has The International. There's a main event and a side tournament. The side tournaments are usually old games, like that Sailor Moon game for example. Where as the main event is for the mainstream games. This year it consisted of: Soul Calibur 6, Under Night In-Birth Exe:Late[st], Dragon Ball FighterZ, Samurai Shodown, Mortal Kombat 11, BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle, Street Fighter V and Tekken 7. They always save the best game for last, kinda like a main game to highlight/close out the event, this year it was Tekken 7.
