Taking a walk through the inner city area of Longsight, Manchester. This is the main street that runs through the village called Stockport Road. Picking up some take-out in a place called, "today Restaurant".

It may be an inner city area but all the shops are open not boarded up

I left in 59 felt like a village area nice stores 3 movie theaters was home in 70 /72 still much the same now a different world even my church and graveyard erased church a meeting place graves covered over into a parking lot no respect for the past an outdoor market and vegetables stores and foreign language is this happening all over Britain
