I make ramen for myself to save time and money and add peanut butter for a boost of protein and flavor. When I can't afford sesame oil, I add (not kidding) Dollar Tree BBQ sauce, along with garlic powder and ground ginger.
Love how she basically has one small tray of coleslaw and chicken for like 14 people. I love Nigella but as "greedy" as she says she is and how she never likes to "undercater", she does not make a lot of food.
The first noodle dish would be great for 'flex' families. As is, it could be vegan. Meat eaters: chicken chunks, or any leftover meat. I've seen this episode dozens of times (as I have with ALL Nigella's shows) I wonder why these noodles appeal to me now
Nigella trolling around Belgravia in a hired bus - and eating soup in the back of a taxi en-route to her massive house - puhlease!! 😂 NOBODY does this...least of all somebody that in-the-saddle. I met Nigella a couple of times - not unpleasant, but a bit icy and guarded. Last time she was with Saatchi and high as a kite. This was in about 2015 I'd say 🤔
Well, it's a show ;) Anyway, it's not about what she does in her everyday life, it's about how to make life easier for homecooks in general - and for people who actually need to eat on public transport sometimes because they don't always have time to eat at a table.
I'm curious, is London like New York in America? Very congested? My understanding is that public transport is a must in New York and that a lot of people take the subway and busses because the traffic is so out of control. I read that a lot of people in New York can't drive because they rely so heavily on public transportation.
I'd imagine she would be cautious with strangers. She doesn't fake it to be an influencer so you won't see her parade herself and go "Hi Fans!!". She thinks of you as another human being. A stranger.
@@owl4260 I thought eating and drinking is not allowed on public transport. Anyway I seldom see people do it these days because it's unpleasant to do so, let alone Nigella
Same with most hollywood celebrities but you don't see people making a big deal out of it with them. Nearly everyone on Marvel sets does coke. The guys are on PEDs and steroids, too.
I don't care about the food. I'm here for her theatrical mimics
Plus the culinary talents!
Been in love with her shows ever since❤great episode
Nigella is seriously delightful
The best part about Nigella is her talking using great words.
I could watch Nigella all day
Sometimes I DO! 😊
Those rocky road bars and the coleslaw look so good. And the peanut sauce noodles!!
Those peas need to be cooked. The noodle too.
How wonderful Nigella is. I am very old now so just enjoy watching. If only these were available when I was first married and learning to cook.
Hello! I liked your comment and just wanted to say hello. I hope you are doing well.
Ditto! I also hope you are enjoying these to the max...💖

Thanks for posting. I love these old cooking shows.

Try adding a one or two teaspoons of Kewpie (japanese mayo) and grated garlic. Heaven.

She does say that the amount of people coming keeps increasing, so it may have been for less originally.
I know, it's so strange! And we were led to believe there were like two drumsticks leftover 😂
@@theprousteffect9717 maybe they just weren't hungry
My true queen I love you Nigella
Thank you for posting ❤️
Thank you SO MUCH for posting this gem ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Soup seems like a really impractical food to take on the road with you.
Her cooking reminds me oddly of someone throwing stuff together and hoping it will stick
Love Nigella. She is who we should all try to be. But she should wash her hands, and the vegetables she buys.
Reminds me of New York..TOO MANY PEOPLE!

My friend used to make this and i was wondering where he got the amazing Satay sauce recipe from
That peanut noodle is yucky...
As if she would really eat in a moving bus 😂
I find drinking soup on a cab even more ridiculous (and dangerous)
@snikovsky taxi is more believable as it's more of a private space
@@lepetitchat123More expensive, too. 😅 But I'm still a huge fan of hers.
What is golden syrup ?
Nigella has no patience with food..she throws things around but somehow it all comes together.. Wish I were there to taste it.

Rocky Road yum
I want the music at 13:23 to play when I'm cooking😊

@@corinaperez226pretty much. If you drive in London you're either a cabbie, a bus driver or an idiot.
