Being fully honest, I think both the new "Me" and "DIY" sound great but they don't represent the vibe/themes of the SCPs themselves. In "DIY", we is inside SCP-3008, an infinitely huge building with a lot of open, empty space. During the day, all lights are turned on and the employees mind their own business so it feels a bit more safe but when night comes around, the atmosphere drastically changes. All the lights are turned off, the feeling of dread is more intense than ever and the employees become hostile. It would be better for a song covering this SCP to feel the same way. Strong echo effect and minimal amount of instrumental makes you feel like you're in a dark, vast, empty place, trying to survive till morning and making as little noise as possible to not attract more hostile entities. In "Me", we are facing a creature, which takes anything or anyone, who mentioned it's appearence but not because it doesn't want to be known, but because it wants to learn about it's own existence and purpose. The original version felt like 2521 was trying to see if singing made him feel more... meaningfull. It represented a tragic story of an entity, which came to existence but doesn't understand why and is trying to take anything that could guide it towards it's true purpose but without success. 2521's voice actually sounded like an unknown entity, suggesting it may not even have proper vocal cords so it can just make those random sounds, which don't even resemble normal speech. Constant rain in the background, slow instrumental and more fitting chromatics for 2521 made that song so good that it's still in my personal top 20 fnf songs. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying all that to attack your versions as they are still nice to listen too but they also feel like they went in the "average fnf song" direction rather than representing the entities they are about. But hey, that's just my opinion.
Alright- So, I know a lot of people are complaining about the BF vocals, but- What if they aren't BF vocals? To me the player vocals in bup's songs in the ost sound more similar to many interpretations of GF's vocals (Hypno's Lullaby in particular). Thoughts? No idea if this is accurate or not, just putting out the theory

honestly I've grown on the vocals a lot, it fills in different sections well and it's a nice contrast from the bassy [REDACTED] vocals
