i replayed this game many times back then and i always held this part of the game in a special light. ezio is literally just a regular kid, a rich and handsome one but still a kid with kid like worries. it's such a big contrast to the latter parts of the game, and even to the other games of the ezio collection and ac1, altair was born into the war although he does mature throughout the game he is always a cold blooded killer. it was heartbreaking each replay when ezio's father gets arrested and he puts on the assassin uniform. now that i think about it, imagine if a reboot of ac2 had rdr2 like interaction with the world and a few hours long prologue where you play as the pre-assassin ezio

Crazy it came out 15 yrs later and still one of the most beloved games ever
