PRESENTER BIOS
Txana Tuwe Huni Kuin is from Acre, Brazil, from the Novo Futuro village on the land of the Humaitá river of the Amazon. He is one of the spiritual leaders of his community from the Huni Kuin nation.
Txana Yube is the son of Chief Shane Huni Kuin and Seya Yawanawa, since the age of 4 he has been consecrating the force of Nixi Pãe. Txana Yube is from the Novo Futuro village, which is located on the banks of the Humaitá River, Amazon - Acre. Txana Yube is being prepared to be a Pajé (Shaman), having already carried out diets in the forest with the Eskawatã Kayawei Group led by spiritual leader & Pajé Ninawa Pai da Mata, and in his village, he is one of the members of the cultural and musicians, Kayawei Group.
Samia Biruany is from the Huni Kuin people from the state of Acre, Brazil from the Pinuya village. She is one of the coordinators of the women’s group Mawa Isa, which seeks to strengthen the traditions of her people by learning from the Pajés, the elders of her tradition.
