This is the one album they had Luther Dickinson from North Mississippi Allstars on it and this is by far the best song on the album imo. The BC’s were lucky enough to have Luther in their band for a while. He’s a talented guitarist!
I heard this once on the Sirius "Jam On" channel and was totally grooving/bouncing to it. I was absolutely shocked to see that this was the Black Crowes. I was like, "Say what?" First off, hats off to them for lasting this long. I know a lot of people who loooooove them and swear by them. Their music's usually a little too 'twangy' for my tastes, but this tune... dayum!! They should do this more often!
Stones around 1978-79, mixed with Donna Summer (Hot Stuff), with as my brother put it Bill Joe Armstrong (green Day's) snotty voice. Awesome stuff. this band has gotten better over the years. Nice to see, because so many bands get worse. They made a bad-ass cd with many different styles to their songs, showing their versatile genius. Rock on Black Crowes!!!
Keith Jagger's comments are spot on. "The Most Rock and Roll Rock and Roll Band" hell yeah. This is one I'd never heard before, and I'm delighted to hear it. It's dancy and you could play it in a dance/techno night and it would get the ladies movin and a groovin, and hey, that's what makes a good night out. When the ladies and lassies are boogieing, the guys boogy and well, that's how it works. Get the lassies movin and the guys move and a shake. Lovin this vibe. It's got a Daftpunk vibe, and that I like. Pleasantly surprised! x :)
Lástima de los malditos egos. Lo que podía ser una continuación plena se convirtió ya para no volver en una maravillosa colección de canciones con solo unas pocas que añadir.
Naw. They weren't born 3 decades too late and thank God for that. They're always carried the torch for proper rock and roll. These cats have had a #1 album and all of the bells and whistles to go with it. They care about the music first and foremost, which is all that matters anyway. "The Most Rock and Roll Rock and Roll Band" is a title that they deserve.
holysh!T i totally fell in love with this song when i saw them on Live from the Artists Den (on tv, not IRL! i wish!) anyhoo. thanx for posting. this song and the whole set sort of put BC back on my top playlist!!
Excellent track. Heard it on Planet Rock but never caught the name and spent ages trying to find it - I ended up trawling through all of the Black Crowes catalogue to find and buy it!
The Crowes continue to amaze. What a tune off an inspired album,as they all are . If you applied the Top Gear "Cool wall" rule of measurement this band is in the "sub-zero" section.
Now Keith, you don't want to do that!!! Gardening will give you dirty nails. As for the color & consistency - 2 drops of LSD-25 in the bottom dish, he-he. Nah, that all comes from being DIGITAL. Thanks for the kind words & keep up your fine work.
I have never been such a huge fan of this band, but this?! This is simply fantastic!! Lovely production job, too. Try and keep at least one foot from moving whilst listening to this. Lol! I love this so much... \m/ (:o)
one word.......SUBLIME.........and another few choice words...fukin excellent...pure cool as fuk sleazy easy rock n roll......very under rated the black crows...which is good coz it aint that comercial shit you hear everyday on the radio...thank fuk...it takes a very selective ear.
Just enjoying this song again now and I'm so confused as to why I didn't like this song when he was listening to it back in 2020?? Now I think it's AMAZING! And he overdid it and doesn't really listen to it much anymore. So weird 😆 Btw, our 5th anniversary is in 3 days... 🥹🥹❤
@HFC36 Hey, dude... get Southern Harmony & Musical Companion, Amorica, and Lions too. Warpaint and Shake Your Moneymaker are my least favorite two of theirs.
This is seriously fucking good shit...and I agree with the funy disco era stones comment...It definetly has that vibe but the guitar solo circa 3:30 is just fucking awesome
If they stripped away the disco sounding rhythm section you’d have a real (and really good!) Black Crowes song. Arrangement is awful though. Big misfire from my favorite band.
Still jamming to this one. What a song.
Somebody played me this and I couldn't for the life of me guess who it was,all I new was it was brilliant, I was shocked when he told me!
These guys will blow your mind before the left stride meets the right…..
I think I just fkd myself up with that one lol 👌🏼🤙🏼🤙🏼🤙🏼but it worked!

Luther is an amazing player , check out their cover of “ oh sweet nothin” he absolutely kicks the arse out of it with Rich . 🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌
I love this song. I want more music like this. Anyone?
It’s taken twelve to answer you!!!??? These guys STILL blow you away.

I saw the 'TURN IT UP' thing at the beginning and was like 'Nahh' Then the music started and it was on full blast.
Ha! I followed the instructions!

Best song I've heard in years and first Crowes LP I've bought since Amorica....great post, thanks
Spot on - Only heard it last night and thought "Some Girls".
Really thought this was remake of some random disco song but there are too many facets that rock down the house! Ty for posting. Buying it now.
P

"Seeds in the ASHTRAY and COKE ON THE BLADE" rock-n-roll is alive and well as the Black Crowes are around...
this song is wild
I thought this was a close up video of a Pink Floyd set, first time I saw this. 😊
Really good 👍
Lástima de los malditos egos. Lo que podía ser una continuación plena se convirtió ya para no volver en una maravillosa colección de canciones con solo unas pocas que añadir.
What visualizer is this, and what music player is it from? Oh yeah, this song rocks my fucking socks off.
Saw them in NYC 2 weeks ago. This song totally caught me off guard...didn't feel like it fit into their set. But right at 1:42 the crowd was jumpin'!

one of the best driving/passenger tunes :) also gr8 when high :)
Stumbled upon this on my radio dial today and I love it. The best part...it was on an NPR station!
Driving down the high-way, doin a buck thirty, stoned, with this song as loud as it will go! ;)
Wrecker '56 sounds pretty damn awesome!
Buck Thirty is All U have in ur Pocket...Or the amount of Gas u can afford to put in ur tank DREAMER>>>
Not everyone will understand how good this feels, for those who do, this one .........is for u
What kind of car (and what year) you got that doesn't stop you from going that fast
and it was recorded live on stage. Blows most studio albums out of the water
Live, these guys ☝🏼☝🏼👀😤👌🏼
Hope you are still listening to the crowes
@@dvd4802 Every day!

This song kicks butt!!!
The Crowes are back hard this year. Loving this new album and I think this may be the best track on it.
Cool tune and loving that video. I'll need to remember and watch it full screen next time I get a hold of some acid.
Ooooh ooohh Whooooo !!! Love this disco-tech tune!
Totaly unexpected this is a HUGE song. There's no way to escape from!!!!!!!! Peace.
Wonderful. To bad I don’t do acid or mushrooms anymore. Nice light show.

Now Keith, you don't want to do that!!! Gardening will give you dirty nails.

I can hear the resemblance.

Awesome Audios that's the godawful truth 😄

ON A FINE ARAB CHAGAAAAAAHHHHHHHH
fell in love with a girl meets psycho groove *****
oooh, I hear a bit of "heart of glass" in this too... maybe some bee gees. Wow, so different for the black crowes
Kinda reminds me of Stones Miss You...
Mostly hate this band
But this is effing phenomenal
Even as a now sober alcoholic all the best songs in rock involve drugs within the lyrics
Really like that little piece of intro at the end..
Listen to this then listen to Kings of Leon - My Party. The breakdown parts are very similar!
Thank you to my amazing boyfriend for having such a good music taste and introducing me to this song! 😍
That there is a great man to keep around with musical tastes like these guys. Hell ya. Baby I ain’t hiding honaaaay

👍👍

@HFC36 Hey, dude... get Southern Harmony & Musical Companion, Amorica, and Lions too. Warpaint and Shake Your Moneymaker are my least favorite two of theirs.
Wow, compare this to "Shake Your Money Maker", god damn has Chris' voice changed!
Do the rest in the car
omg it is!
collectivetive soul mighty mouse stones harmonies
Needs more cowbell
Lololol
Blade.
Could have easily been on the Rolling Stones Emotional Rescue album
Making these effin commercials longer and longer. It'll be worse than TV soon.
nope.
You are correct sir!
This is seriously fucking good shit...and I agree with the funy disco era stones comment...It definetly has that vibe but the guitar solo circa 3:30 is just fucking awesome
These guys sound quite a bit like Metronomy. 'The Bay' in particular.
a bit of BLUR
This video doesn't have an epilepsy warning!!! Take it down now!!!
Hafta check this out, then.
Rich Robinson thinks this song is garbage.
He's right.
I get it, and don't too
great tune , bad voice

shy of the solo @ 3:12, this is crap
