Actually only one one set is green screened here and few onsite green screens are used for the transitions. There is behind the scenes available. The hanging cars, the fireworks, fire pillars - not CGI. The car explosion, the glass wall, helicopter and the flying garbage - cgi. I would like to know sclass budget coz I've never seen such an mv.

Actually there is almost no green screen in this music video! They put out a making film if you'd like to see the process of filming and the sets(and also their personalities theyre very different than they seem on screen)! The monster, the helicopter, the mirror that breaks, the wind kick, the flying trash, Changbin exiting off the second verse, the grappling hook and the water that stayed in the air are all the things that are not real/green screened. Theyre actually the first idol group to ever perform or film in the middle of the Han river bc of this theyre actually on a barge!
Stray Kids are a very unique kpop group in a lot of ways. First being that they write and produce all of their music which is very rare and never with the same amount of creative freedom that Stray Kids get. The second being that BangChan the leader of the group actually picked the members himself out of the other trainees which has never been done before. Theyre known for creating their own genre (kpop is more of an industry than a genre) dubbed by media as the Mala Taste genre with their song God's Menu, Mala being a very spicy chinese seasoning. They have a very unique sound that you can hear in any of their songs no matter what genre, which theyve done about 50 different genres at this point only 5 years into their career. Its always very distinctly Stray kids. They make a lot of experimental music and dont care if its appealing to the general public theyre in it for the art. Even with this song they said they thought it would be very divisive in the fandom. But this album ended up becoming the highest selling album in korean history with over 5 million sales. They have a new album coming out in the beginning of November theyve put out teasers and full performances two of the songs if u want to check them out!

So... Most of this was NOT green screen, it was all practical sets. It took five days to film and they released a behind the scenes video that shows the process. I hope you check out their other content! Since you are a professional vocalist I recommend "Sorry, I love you", "Lonely St", "Secret Secret", "The View", and their pre-debut release "Hellevator". (because this will confuse people, they debuted with 9 in 2018, but 1 left about a year later for personal reasons in early 2019). And they have a Christmas song "24 to 25" that is also very vocal based.

Hope you'll check out more Stray Kids, they have an extensive discography! A pretty amazing (and atypical k-pop group) they are very creative, talented, and entertaining. If you keep on exploring, you'll continue to get lots of info & feedback from fellow Stays (their official fandom), so here are just a few basics, to help you hit the ground running!
All members were trainees under JYP Entertainment. Their leader, Bang Chan, with the longest period, at 7 years. As the other (future members) joined JYP, Bang Chan was allowed to hand select the team members, as an experiment, to see if they could develop and prove their capabilities to debut as a group. [This was documented as a reality series, and ended with the happy verdict that the team would debut as Bang Chan selected. Lots of ups and downs in the series, but to me the best take-away was seeing these teenagers working like professional athletes, creating songs & performances while continuing with school & trainee responsibilities. Inspiring, really!]
Debuted as a 9-member group in March 2018; ages ranged from 17 to 20. Bang Chan, Changbin, & Han are the producing unit of Stray Kids, and they do write, compose, and have a LOT of control over the production of the vast majority of Stray Kids music. Two of the members grew up in Australia, another in Malaysia, and two others spent a brief time in the U.S. It is very easy for them to include English lyrics, and work with the other members on pronunciation. [Towards the end of 2019, a member left the group & JYP to start a solo career - in case you notice a change in faces/numbers!]
They had a fan base established when they started (thanks to the show, and some self-produced Sound Cloud content prior to debut) but got off to a slower start with the Korean audience. [they have, as you heard, a more aggressive sound and are not afraid to experiment - so there were lots of negative critiques about their "noise" music.]
They were very productive, and continued to gain recognition the first couple years, picking up wins & awards. June of 2020, they released "Go Live" . The title track "God's Menu" (and spectacular m/v) just really cemented their place and got a lot of international attention. They haven't slowed down since. This m/v you just watched is the title track to their comeback (= most recent project release) "5-Star" from June of this year. They have a new album coming out in two weeks. They released multiple projects last year.... do you sense a theme here?!
I chuckled at your comment about the vocals matching the face, it is true that they don't prioritise that for each lyric... But you can sure see them belting stuff out if/when you check out any live performances - they do go all out!
And, since you said you can see that they go all in, you should check out a Japanese release of theirs: "All In".
Lord, sorry, hard to shut up about these guys!

Thanks for reacting to our kids! Some quick facts about them and this song/ album:
    1) 8 member group that debuted in 2018 under JYP Entertainment that was hand picked by the leader Bang Chan though started as 9
    2) This song won them a VMA, the album had set a kpop preorder record with 5.13M sales, and the album was recently certified RIAA gold in the U.S.A. in just a few months
    3) The members range from the oldest and leader Bang Chan at 26 to I.N. (Jeongin) the youngest, Maknae in Korean, at 22
    4) The group is formed around the 3 producers called 3RACHA which include the leader Bang Chan, Changbin, and Han. They were originally an unground rap group. Han is the youngest in South Korea to have reached 100 credits. 3RACHA are in the top most credited South Korean artists
    5) They are extremely popular faces for big brands. For example Hyunjin is a Versace ambassador, Felix is a LV ambassador, and Changbin is a face of Samsung. They also are as a group associated with many brands like Nacific, a beauty brand
    6) They are known for being extremely kind and humble even after reaching these new heights in popularity. Many older artist respect them and many newer artist have them as inspirations because of both their music and personalities
    7) They are about to have a new mini album (8 songs) come out on the 10th of November and around the same time will know if the are nominated for the Grammy's
    8) Their whole theme is based around mental health, breaking down musical walls, and being a safe place for the "glitches" of society. While they have to be selective about topics to conform to their company rules/ contract they are still quite vocal on issues and donate to lots of causes
To conclude, they have incredible skills when it comes to music and their jobs but they are also incredible individuals that connect in a magical way to their fans. STAYs (fandom name) always say that Stray Kids are a thing bigger then music and they make a community where everyone can, even just for a few hours at a concert, become one despite all the differences that try to separate us outside that moment. Hope you react to more of their music and also get to know them outside of music because I think everyone can find a peice of themselves reflected in them.
May you live wonderfully and be blessed into your next life. 감사합니다 (Thank you)

Oh. You are in for a treat with Stray Kids. As others have said before me, they are largely self produced. They do work with other producers to refine their tracks, but they are the ones who come up with the music & lyrics. They have a wonderful choreography team, and a few of the members help with suggestions for what they would like. But if you look in the credits of the songs, there will be at least one member of 3Racha (Bang Chan, Changbin, and Han make up the production sub-unit) on almost every track. I say almost, because the other members of Stray Kids also have written songs for either the group or solo songs.
Stray Kids do have a very distinctive sound to their title tracks. But they cover so much more than just hard hitting songs. Part of this is the fact that the term K-pop comes from Korean + Popular. So it is an industry, not a genre. Stray Kids have set themselves on a slightly different path than most k-pop groups, in that they use some very unconventional sounds & styles in unique ways. Lets see. Some of the things you will find in some songs. A tigers roar. Breaking glass. Several different kinds of sirens, depending on the song. Some person reciting side effects in English. (That last one is part of the chorus in their song Side Effects. Such a unique song & one of my faves.) And they have covered many styles as well. There are songs with heavy rock influence, songs with EDM, slow ballads, hip hop, and many mixes of those in between.
I'm going to leave a list of songs that cover some title tracks, and some b-side songs. They will all have videos, some performance videos, and one animated lyric video. I'm gonna list that one last, as it was a song made for the fans using words that have been said to them & they want to give back. Other than that one I won't list them in order, just in how I remember a name. And as some other people have said, Stray Kids debut as a 9 member group. But one member (Woojin) left at just under 2 years after they started.
Hellevator (Their first song, made for the survival show. When they were trainees.Has the ex member)
    Blueprint
Voices (There are two videos for this. One with 9 members, and a special one with the 8 current members)
Side Effects (Has the ex member)
District 9 (Their debut song, so has the ex member.)
Chronosaurus (Has the ex member. One of my fave songs. Very haunting in parts)
    Thunderous
    Maniac
    Give Me Your TMI
    Chill
    Freeze
    Case 143
Time Out (A song for the fans for our Stayniversery. Very fun.)
Awkward Silence (Very cute. Has the ex member)
    Venom
Victory Song (There are a few versions of this. The original performance song, and a 8 member one from a MAMA performance.)
Insomnia (This is a street version where they took personal cameras & wandered around New York while on tour. The ex member is in it.)
Grow Up (Very under appreciated song lately. Ex member is in it.)
Youtiful (This is the animated lyric video, made for STAY. Stay is the fandom, by the way.)
I'll end the list there, but SKZ have SO much music. You will be able to find so many other songs. Some that have no videos, some that are with only a few members, and some that are solo songs.
Have fun with your foray into K-pop.

Best things about this group :
-Stray kids is a completely self produced group (They do not have a single song without their name on it).
-Every member has within 20+ to 160+ song credits.
-They have so many genres that they make (like over 50 genres have been covered and performed by them).
-Chan (the leader) hand picked the members (who were already under the company) ,but he picked them to join the group and worked with them so they could debut.
-They have some really genius lyrics (puns/double meanings/jokes/play-on-words/lyrics that are difficult to translate from Korean to English).
-The actual prediction of the music…like the voice directing and music producing is all done by Stray kids (mainly “3RACHA” the rap/producer unit within the group)
They definitely bring something new to K-pop that most groups don’t bring. It makes Stray kids stand out. They are unique and packed to the brim with talent. I definitely would recommend looking into them more.

Sounds like you might like to watch some of their behind scenes videos. They write and produce their own music (each member has multiple copyright credits, but the main writer/producers are three members who call themselves 3Racha--it's a Korean thing to give a name to any group, sub-group, unit, etc). Their last several releases they've had behind scenes in the recording studio, where you get to see the three producers running the vocal recordings---this is especially fun because you also get to hear the raw vocals, and listen to the artists modify, use various effects, etc, and you also can see the production members put their stamp on the sound, encourage, suggest, and so on. There are also behinds for the MVs, and for this album, they have the dance rehearsal behind. These videos can be super entertaining, these guys have a sense of humor and are really nice people.
Be aware that in kpop, there are many "dance practice" videos that show the final product of the rehearsal, basically what they will show on stage without the costumes, lighting etc. Those are great if you like watching dance, my jnderstanding is that they were originally meant for kpop dance fans who wanted to see more of the dances, and to be able to learn them so they could dance them as a group in public. So if you want to watch a behind the scenes that shows them putting together a production and practicing dance moves until they get them right, watch the behind the scenes dance practice, but if you just want to see the entire dance for a given song, watch the dance practice for that song--make sure it's not a "funny" one, like one in costume or title "LoveStay" where they try to fit in as many heart symbols as they possibly can, as a present to their fanbase. Those are hilarious but you don't get to see the dancing very well.
Re the production/writing--before this album was released, all 8 members had at least 17 copyright credits for lyrics or composition, while of the 3Racha production team, Chan the leader of the group, had over 150, and Changbin and Han had somewhere over 120 each. This number increases with each song. Part of this is because the 3Racha members each have their own individual credits on songs with they write together, however, some songs only have one or two involved. They also get only one credit per song, so if they are credited on the album for lyrics, composition and arrangement, that only counts as 1 credit for counting purposes. They do very very very occasionally have co-writers, more frequently they share composing or arranging credits with many producers across the industry. They love collaborating and do it very well, and know how to get the most out of each collaboration, using the outside input to bring all kinds of fresh sounds and perspectives, so that although their sound and style are extremely recognizable, each song sounds different. Very cool!

Stray Kids are amazing. As others have already commented a lot of what you see in this MV is real (including the fire columns) , not a lot of green screens. You can watch their “make of” video (a vlog of the 4, or 5 I don’t recall exactly, days they spent shooting this M/V). They are an extremely talented group who produces their own songs (not common in Kpop). They have around 180 great songs to their credit. While they draw inspirations from all genres of music, they have mastered a unique sound which is unmistakably “Stray Kids”, and sets them apart from the other Kpop groups. I highly recommend them. If you’d like to see more I suggest Thunderous, God’s Manu and Venom (but all of their songs are great in their own merit).

I love seeing new people discover Stray Kids. They are 8 members and have a huge discography and ranges from different genres that you can actually find something that you'll like and also one thing you need to know about them is they are very hands-on when it comes to their music 3 members of the group is their main producers/composers and they work with some other producers as well but mostly them and the other members make music here and there too. They have rap heavy songs, ballads , edm, and they also mix genres in one song just like S-class. They are also amazing live performers. I hope you continue to react to their music you can never go wrong with Stray Kids, they are an amazing group. Glad you like the vid. Also just to add others already said it but this vid and most of Stray Kids vids have minimal green screens those are actual sets their team created, the making of S-class is on their yt and I was amaze how most of it was actually real. 😁
Also some recommendations if you like a more vocal heavy songs
Secret secret, Levanter, Ex, Story that won't end, Waiting for us, Gone Away, Lonely St. They have japanese song called Slump and Scars.

Stray Kids is under JYP Entertainment. Stray Kids was formed through a reality show called 'Stray Kids'. They debuted in 2018. The group is currently composed of 8 members :
Bang Chan (Leader), Changbin, Lee Know, Han Jisung, Felix, Hyunjin, I.N (Maknae) and Seungmin.
    Woojin left the group.
Stray Kids is currently composed of 8 members. One of their sub-units called "3RACHA" (Composed of 3 members : Bang Chan, Changbin and Han Jisung) produces songs for the group.
    Stray Kids has 3 sub-units :
    1. 3RACHA (Composed of 3 members : Bang Chan (Leader), Han Jisung and Changbin)
    2. DANCERACHA/DANCE RACHA (Composed of 3 members : Hyunjin, Lee Know (Leader) and Felix)
    3. VOCALRACHA/VOCAL RACHA (Composed of 2 members : Seungmin and I.N)

I loved your reaction & am looking forward to joining your on your SKZ journey. The whole '5 Star' Album is truly ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ especially the title track S Class . The other MV's are also top tier as well: Topline, Get Lit, DLC, Flora & Fauna & Youtiful.
    - SKZ have amazing music, STAY's (fandom name) biggest flex is that they create this music themselves (lyrics, composition, production) & they are so chaotic and fun as people. Actually they all can rap, sing and dance very well. Stray Kids are one of the best groups at performing live in any genre with their raps, dancing, singing and transitions.
    - Fun Fact: A fellow stay (@mx.confused) mention that they are actually doing more than just saying the same word over and over again. They are also doing a wordplay on the words star: “byul (별)“, all: “byul-ae (별의)“, and odd: “byul-na-da (별나다)” in Korean.
They can give a masterclass in lyricism. Welcome to Stayville - "wanna come in.."

Thank you so much for reacting to Stray Kids! As other comments said, it is a strong introduction to kpop lol. Another cool group that I recommend is Monsta X. They are in the military now, but they have some amazing songs and cool vocalists (in fact they have one of the best, Kihyun, you can check some cover of him alone pleaasee) and great rappers. Some cool songs are: Lost in the dream (this one I recommend the most) then Love, Gambler, You problem, etc. For more Stray kids, I'm sure stays will put some songs in the comments, but I recommend as well the Love Poem performance on the "Kingdom" show, there is Seungmin, vocalist of skz truly shining on that one.

The thing is that they actually borrowed an empty village awaiting renewal constructions, and the fire, fireworks, and drone are all real things, they went sand field to take some scenes and also borrowed a huge barge floating in Han River in Seoul, Korea and all lights are real. And swimming pools and running crews were real, too.
The huge octopus, flying garbages etc are cg
They also gave MV making behind clips and they filmed this MV for 5 days in several different Locations
    Thanks for liking SKZ mvs.

In fact, all the scenarios are real and I think that only in one part they used a green screen and showed it behind the scenes. The fireworks/explosions are real and most of the lights are too, the cars were really hanging there, haha.
I hope you can keep reacting to more of their songs because they are very good❤and that they can be analyzed better. They are a group that produces their own songs and also contribute to the creation of their choreographies.
Usually all the members speak super well in English (two members of them are Australian) so sometimes they add many English phrases to their songs.
I liked the video, it's always good to see people react to Skz💕

Two of the Stray Kids members - leader Bang Chan and deep-voice guy Felix - are from Australia, so English is their first language. The other 6 members speak English with varying degrees of fluency.
All 8 members are fluent in Korean and Japanese, so when writing / performing their songs, they switch back and forth between languages, depending on the song. They can also rap in all three languages, too.

time to deep dive RUclips ---- this is a snapshot --- and yes, there are a lot of green-screens, but not as many as you'd think. And their editors have not only mastered transitions but, in my opinion, match-cuts are their specialty. Watch practice videos, in addition to M/V, etc -- and behind the scenes when possible. AMAZING Synchronization is particularly impressive, and in combination with frequent formation changes.... choreography alone is awesome. Then add the vocals, the stamina, the cohesive individuality. And when you learn more about their production and the level of members' involvement, it is next level again.

Stray Kids write, and mostly produce all of their own music. Their sound is very unique and they like to incorporate sounds like glass breaking, squeaky doors, birds chirping, drills, sirens, gears grinding etc into their music. Stray Kids is also a heavily hip hop influenced group. If you like slightly more sings then I suggest you try Maniac by Stray Kids or Loney Street. Or Halazia by the group Ateez.
