BO6 is actually really good. I had a bad experience with the beta but the full game feels 10x better. I would have bought the game if it wasn't always online, Gamepass for the win.

I think they have plans to keep people on that hook for those 3+ months for sure, Probably some crazy dlc will be teased, cross promo character skins like HALO or Gears will be teased and spaced out, which will keep people paying the sub AND buying MTX, because who wouldn't want to be master chief in COD??? ALso not mentioned is that every minute/hour people are playing cod, they're NOT playing other games like the 14th remaster of horizon or whatever. It's all interconnected which is why engagement matters so much these days. You have to keep players engaged to continue milking them for money which simultaneously denies the other guy those same dollars.. pretty smart stuff.
already seen it from the blue side in here. last year when MW3 releases (about a week or two after the purchase of ABK was finalized) and MW3 scored so low in the reviews it was, "see xbox screwed up Call of duty". already starting to see now from the blueys because Black Ops 6 is scoring high "why you so happy, xbox had nothing to do with with the game". they can't make up their minds.

Alex, Xbox is building multibillion server complexes in India to cater to the Indian market that wants to play gamepass on any device with a screen. Do the math on the indian population. If 3% of them buy gamepass... And there is no way that these data centres would be being built if there was not a confirmed demand for the service. Don’t forget, that $20 subscription gets you more than Call of Duty. There’s nearly 500 games on there. Once someone subs they will more than likely stay for all the other games too, rather than stay for one month for COD.

When the Activision/Blizzard deal started I always thought it was more for the billion dollar micro-transactions market than it was adding games to Xbox.
Xbox has repeatedly said King is why they wanted it. It was always a play for Mobile and the MTX in all these various franchises. Diablo earned a billion dollars last year, as well as Candy Crush, etc.
Starfield had a rocky launch because it was relying too heavily on the modding community to bring it up with no tools or anything to work off of. Hifi rush was amazing but the studio was shut down...
All I can say is, I never would've bought Bo6 if it was $70 Yet here I am giving the game a try because I already owned gamepass Ultimate for many other games and actually good ones coming out (Doom & Gears) So I guess they got my business either way? Unlike Sony who I won't give a dime
They nearly did, Sony had to sell everything, including their PC business, assets, property after the PSN hack in 2011, all their products are now 3rd party. They are not Microsoft at all, and a lot of their divisions are performing badly, only thing keeping them in business is Sony Pictures and it's Music division, even PS isn't doing great by revenue.
30% is how much sony can recive from the sale of BO6 on there system, like any company they still have cost to pay. Part of that cost is paying MS, not just for the game but also art, name and licencing.

Side note during the campaign I've noticed some visual bugs with the water surface, whether I'm above or below the water surface. Idk if this has happened for anyone else but it doesn't happen in the multiplayer or zombies. Prob something they'll fix a patch soon.
That's usually caused by the AMD CAS thingy. Try turning it off/on or adjusting it's level? 🤷🏻 Obviously could be a visual glitch but I had the same thing only affect me on Warzone and that's what it turned out to be.
I’m gonna be subscribing to pc game pass for 1 month to see if I like the game, and if I do, I’ll cancel the service and buy the game. I think a lot of people are doing that and it just makes no sense to criticize gamepass for that
Don't forget the premium upgrades, that support the subbed version of cod, and other titles. Ara for example had a 10 dollar premium upgrade. Starfield 30 dollars, ect.

Black Ops 6 Campaign is awesome so far only complaint about the game is the forced DEI makes all the female operators hideous but so far its not affecting the mission design or story so far i’m halfway through the campaign and like Cold war it’s shaping up to be the best of the 2020’s
I am so glad at the end Alex brought up Cell phone games. Cause I was about to come in here and write about Gatcha games like Genshin Impact. They are F2P but make tons on MTX. Lower barrier of entry lets people become more willing to spend on MTX. Why people don't realize this I don't know. Especially now that CoD is a hub game, so all your stuff carries over to the next game from what I understand.

So they'll leave when Stalker 2 (which will be exclusive for 3 months,) StarCraft 2 remaster, Genshin Impact, Indiana Jones, etc. all will be popping into Gamepass. A LOT of CDD players are ONLY, or nearly only, CoD players. They won't get Game Pass just for CoD, they'll buy it. I honestly don't think this will impact sales as much as people think and will only give gamers that like to switch through a lot of games and who usually wouldn't buy CoD playing the game. Most people that bought it in the past will buy it this time too.
Xbox is going to get a cut from all the competing platforms that are going to get Call of Duty so at the end Xbox wins and once again Xbox does the marketing through their own console or through Steam every time I boot up my Xbox the first time comes out is Game Pass and Call of Duty

already seen it from the blue side in here. last year when MW3 releases (about a week or two after the purchase of ABK was finalized) and MW3 scored so low in the reviews it was, "see xbox screwed up Call of duty". already starting to see now from the blueys because Black Ops 6 is scoring high "why you so happy, xbox had nothing to do with with the game". they can't make up their minds.

Don’t forget, that $20 subscription gets you more than Call of Duty. There’s nearly 500 games on there. Once someone subs they will more than likely stay for all the other games too, rather than stay for one month for COD.

When the Activision/Blizzard deal started I always thought it was more for the billion dollar micro-transactions market than it was adding games to Xbox.
Xbox has repeatedly said King is why they wanted it. It was always a play for Mobile and the MTX in all these various franchises. Diablo earned a billion dollars last year, as well as Candy Crush, etc.
Surprised? They did the same with Starfield, Hi Fi Rush, and now Call Of Duty.
Starfield had a rocky launch because it was relying too heavily on the modding community to bring it up with no tools or anything to work off of.
Hifi rush was amazing but the studio was shut down...

They nearly did, Sony had to sell everything, including their PC business, assets, property after the PSN hack in 2011, all their products are now 3rd party.
They are not Microsoft at all, and a lot of their divisions are performing badly, only thing keeping them in business is Sony Pictures and it's Music division, even PS isn't doing great by revenue.
30% is how much sony can recive from the sale of BO6 on there system, like any company they still have cost to pay.
Part of that cost is paying MS, not just for the game but also art, name and licencing.

The saddest thing is that most of these people enjoyed a decent to good education, but apparently didn't paid attention in high school during economics classes. Cause most of this really is high school economics. Especially when it comes to this extreme tunnel vision of thinking that they only ways of making money is through the number of units sold.

Side note during the campaign I've noticed some visual bugs with the water surface, whether I'm above or below the water surface. Idk if this has happened for anyone else but it doesn't happen in the multiplayer or zombies. Prob something they'll fix a patch soon.
That's usually caused by the AMD CAS thingy. Try turning it off/on or adjusting it's level? 🤷🏻 Obviously could be a visual glitch but I had the same thing only affect me on Warzone and that's what it turned out to be.
I’m gonna be subscribing to pc game pass for 1 month to see if I like the game, and if I do, I’ll cancel the service and buy the game. I think a lot of people are doing that and it just makes no sense to criticize gamepass for that
Don't forget the premium upgrades, that support the subbed version of cod, and other titles. Ara for example had a 10 dollar premium upgrade. Starfield 30 dollars, ect.

Black Ops 6 Campaign is awesome so far only complaint about the game is the forced DEI makes all the female operators hideous but so far its not affecting the mission design or story so far i’m halfway through the campaign and like Cold war it’s shaping up to be the best of the 2020’s

I am so glad at the end Alex brought up Cell phone games. Cause I was about to come in here and write about Gatcha games like Genshin Impact. They are F2P but make tons on MTX. Lower barrier of entry lets people become more willing to spend on MTX. Why people don't realize this I don't know. Especially now that CoD is a hub game, so all your stuff carries over to the next game from what I understand.

Interesting this "They will only stay in for one month." So they'll leave when Stalker 2 (which will be exclusive for 3 months,) StarCraft 2 remaster, Genshin Impact, Indiana Jones, etc. all will be popping into Gamepass.

A LOT of CDD players are ONLY, or nearly only, CoD players. They won't get Game Pass just for CoD, they'll buy it.
I honestly don't think this will impact sales as much as people think and will only give gamers that like to switch through a lot of games and who usually wouldn't buy CoD playing the game. Most people that bought it in the past will buy it this time too.
