If Stellantis was smart, they’d give people the option to choose between a 392 or the hurricane engine in the RHO. I’m interested in a RHO with the hurricane…. It’s not a v8 but that engine gets more power, easily modifiable, better gas mileage and lighter in weight. Going to save my money for a year and wait for some long term reviews to come out
When I bought my Rebel in 2019, I was a little worried as a Ford guy, but in the last 5 years the truck has been flawless, however not really interested in the mid cycle since the prices have gone up so much, they added a few things but cheapened a few things such as halogen tail lights! Plus prefer the V8.
**Correction** The Big Horn WAS a value truck. Now, it’s almost as expensive as a Silverado High Country. I’m a RAM fanboy, and these are easily the most overpriced trucks in America.

If TESLA dropped prices Stellantis should as well. Slash 15% from MSRP to realistic prices and then add the 1-3% under MSRP for close to dealer purchase price.
Nice trucks, no doubt. Some little things I miss however. Rambox choice for all colors, snowflake certified tires, full LED lighting in general (Rebel still has bulbs in the back and partial up front… come on), how’s about body-cavity-sealing and underbody coating 😮 , corrosion is granted even after a very short time, an absolut waterproofed bedcover that seals the bed anytime, a lower housing below the engine to shield dust, dirt and salt to keep the engine clean.
Like them all but that Warlock is really speaking to me. As long as they have attainable incentives for $15-20k off MSRP I'm interested. Otherwise nope.
How we making it a big deal of 6 seats , when that center seat has been a thing since I can remember, dodge up-charging over things that have always been 😂
Interesting video, good job Andre. Not sure why the video editor put 2500 in the title? The video appears to be all about 1500 trucks, not 2500 HD trucks?
No. The straight six is a worldwide engine platform. Factories switched to produce this engine for the next decade. This engine will show up across all stalantis lines. You don’t engineer a whole new platform and then go back.
Certainly not in the next 1-2 years, the vehicles were all now designed for the 6 cylinder and the production was converted from the 8 cylinder HEMI to the new 6 cylinder... furthermore, the last Hemi 8 cylinder would no longer meet the emissions regulations, therefore Stellantis would have to build a completely new V8! It is like it is, the new 6 cylinder is not an bad engine, you should test drive one, and you can Easy to tune these, there are already videos on RUclips so up to 1000 HP different exhaust system, but, also the standard SST HO is quicker and more agile than the old TRX... Test it and you will see...
Range extender. It makes perfect sense. You can use it as EV in 90% of time driving around your town and charging at home for pennies but not getting stranded in the woods off road or on the interstate when road tripping. Doesn’t require changing the driving habits but at the same time saves money on daily operation. Better than hybrid or pure ICE or pure EV.
@ I own a trx and I can confidently say the rho is hot garbage. There is tons of issues with the hurricane engine. Don’t take my word just google hurricane engine fail Reddit and there is tons of forums and videos of these engines.
That hurricane six seems to be a real bad idea in general. The only thing is stopping me from buying a Wagoneer to tow my new base camp trailer is that the only Wagoneers rated to tow my trailer have that new in-line six hurricane motor which is proving to be unreliable. They need to put the 62 or the 64 in the big truck, especially for those looking to tow.
Nice trucks but good lord the prices.. an it’s not just ram.. btw… good lord.. but might be worth a look at a good used one in a couple years. Stupid to buy a new one anymore.
Moved way to high up market which I get it it is what people buy like you can almost always upsell someone on say a Laramie if they can do a big horn. But the prices have reached a breaking point. I paid 34k for a loaded and I do mean loaded big horn in 2016. Less than 10 years later a loaded big horn is 50k plus.
PLEASE HELP. A ton of us ordered our RHOs in April and May and have NOT seen any movement. Can you please mention that to some of your connections at Ram? This video is with the "acting" CEO, no? Please, please, please. No one knows why they're building trucks ordered in Oct. and Nov. before trucks ordered in April and May with the same options. Thanks in advance. God bless.
This may seem like a nitpick, but I do not understand why modern trucks make you choose between cupholders or seating capacity. My 2001 extended cab Silverado gives you both by having the cup holders in the rear suicide doors. Also, my front cup holders are from the factory built into the floorboard hump. And I do not have to fold down my center front seat to access the couple holders.😢😢
Any chance Brant can explain why early orders for the truck are not fulfilled while newer orders are completed. I ordered mine in July and nothing. Ordered in November are being shipped. There are a lot of April may orders not moved either. Doesn't make sense
I dont necessarily think so. I have a 4wd for adverse winter conditions, not for any significant offroading. I presume many owners want or use their 4wd for similar.
You exposed this guy a couple times first was the skid plates on rebel x he was dumbfounded and also it doesn’t have hands free driving just a unqualified representative from Stellantis
The attempts to separate the rho from the TRX is pretty pathetic. “It has different headlights”….. “it’s its own thing”. Lmao ok. Sure. It’s its own thing that literally no one asked for.
Just can't bring myself to do it. Not until I see these new engines build a reputation of consistent dependability. If I'm spending that much money, she better last at least 250k miles with little to no mechanical intervention.
The 2025 trucks are a big disappointment, a 80k Rebel looks exactly like a 50k Warlock... thats crazy. The grill and lights are a lot cheaper than the 2024 trucks and the RHO has the same front end of a warlock or tradesman, completely unacceptable.

Don’t buy a ram product right now. My dad specially ordered a 2022 rebel GT hemi and its absolute junk.
