MAZDA CX-30 HYBRID: A NEW ERA OF EFFICIENCY

Updated 2025. The Mazda CX-30 reveals everything inside and out, even if only virtually.
Mazda's sales in North America increased by nearly 9% in April, reaching over 131,000 automobiles. Almost every model series already exists, but some have undergone amazing evolution.
Even the Mazda3 passenger car grew by 26% in the first four months of the year. However, crossover SUVs accounted for the majority of deliveries - more than 116,000 vehicles vs roughly 15,000 from January to April. Highlights include the all-new CX-90 and the appealing CX-50 brother of the best-selling CX-5, but the compact CX-30 isn't bad either. Introduced as an SUV.
The CX-30, a subcompact crossover on the Small Product Group platform for the 2020 model year, has been in the market for half a decade yet is still going strong. In fact, through April, Mazda reported a 40% increase in small CUV deliveries.
Infochannel has created an unofficial CGI of the 2025 Mazda CX-30 subcompact CUV, which includes updates across the lineup. Inspired by recent releases such as the CX-70 and CX-90, the channel's pixel gurus reworked the headlights, taillights, and front fascia to match these models, as well as the tough CX-50.Inside, there's a redesigned steering wheel, a larger center screen for the infotainment system, and several new colors.
As usual, the latest video feature from the CGI outlet contains a brief comparison of the old and new Mazda CX-30 (rendered), as well as a longer color reel - both inside and out. The 2.5-liter engine, available with or without turbocharging and rated at 191 or 250 horsepower, is expected to remain unchanged.
However, at one point during the virtual presentation, they urged that Mazda forego the typical mid-cycle facelift and instead present an all new second-generation CX-30. Frankly, that doesn't make much sense because we haven't heard anything like it in the rumor mill, and Mazda is still entirely focused on the next version of its best-selling CX-5 compact crossover SUV, which will include a new hybrid powertrain.
