I have been following Brennen Leigh's work with Kelly Willis and Melissa Carper. Loved all of that. I particularly liked "Outside the Jurisdiction of Man!" Thanks Suzy for having Brennen on!
I didn’t catch y’all live, but I am so happy I caught this one😊. Salt of the earth for sure! Thanks for tonight’s entertainment Suzy, Doug and Brennen Leigh❤
Ladies, your music is awesome. I LOVE everything about it. Suzy, I am attending a screening of your Aledo movie (my son plays the Sheriff) in Chicago next week. Can't wait!
I just saw her (Brennen) give Otis Gibbs an interview. And have been hearing her occasionally on Friends and Neighbors with Chris Scruggs. Hopefully one of these Wednesdays I'll catch this stream live. But I enjoy the replay just the same. 👍👍👍.
Mid Western farmers daughters are the drivers of New York and the worlds economies. Legendary. (they banned Prince Harry from Arizona) hehe. Great music....amazing.
The guest would like the writings of William Tyndale (the original shakespeare but King Henry put him to death after stealing his works. phrases like ...filthy lucre....were his) They are all in the KJ Bible.
In 1961, when I was 3, we moved, to my mom's home town of Arcadia LA. From Duluth Minnesota. Dad found work in Monroe. My sister was 6, the school in Monroe, sent her to a speech therapist, because they couldn't understand her Minnesota accent. When we moved back. I was old enough for school, and the Minnesota schools, did the same to me, because I'd picked up, that Louisiana drawl, and they couldn't understand me. Life is fun, ain't it.
Never heard of Brennen until now, Suzy. She's great. Thanks for the intro. 👍 Regarding your Merle Haggard tribute album, Suzy, it was a major disappointment for me that you did not include his classic, Somewhere Between, which is one of my top two favorites of all the songs you've ever recorded. (The other is your cover of Someday Soon, written by Ian Tyson.)
The first time I think I heard Brennen Leigh was with Sunny Sweeney on "So You Like Country Music "
Been following both of them since that. 👍
Wow my algorithm just served up 2 of my all time favorite female vocalists! Beautiful. Wonders of modern technology.😊

Did not catch live. But what a show it was. Love it.
That is a big time Thumbs up Suzy .....that was a lot of fun. Thanks for sharing your Wednesday evenings with us all. 👋👋👋👋👋

Have always enjoyed music from Miss Suzy. I noticed the globe and got excited. I have a few of my own at home. Peaceful days to all
Love to see you both at the Cow Pea Festival in Charleston, Tennessee in 2024. Great music...
another fine wine down watching it now
Wow! Two of my favorites! Go Fargo!

Wow... Brennen has a great voice. Didn't notice any accent at all. Maybe because I'm from Minnesota?
West Memphis, Arkansas to Little Rock needs 3 Lanes hope. 🌈
Taos is in New Mexico...

Hi y’all😊
Hope, Arkansas is awful (the place).
Great song about it!!
Lovely, Talented guest on your show. Must look her music up! Have you had time to hear my song yet Suzy? “The Promise” Jim Aitken?
This should be on, some music channel. Is it?
