Thank Goodness you found these guys, Jon...... A Perfect Mach. I'm a great fan of Yes since the very first album and I know every single note of every instrument in all of the songs and the Band Geeks are being incredibly competent! If I may say just one thing, I would ask to have more volume on the bass and perhaps more attack from the excellent bass player, as the main feature of Chris Squire's was his unmistakable sound which was the hallmark of the band.... So....MORE BASS, PLEASE!!!! CHEERS AND I SALUTE YOU ALL.
Thanks for the comment! My first show was around the same time as I saw them at RFK Stadium with Gary Wright and Peter Frampton! Quite the day in the stadium! Yes definitely were in their prime for that show!
@@donmarsh6002 I saw the same tour in 76 at Hawthorn racetrack in Chicago. It also featured Lynyrd Skynyrd. Every band was at peak performance . YES was the deserved headliner.
Totally agree! I have seen Yes a few times since Jon was kicked out and definitely not the same band. My last concert I said I couldn't bare to watch anymore.
@@johnarcarese172 Couldn't have said it any better! I also wasn't impressed with the chemistry of the group. Could now be Steve Howe and The Band Egos!
This is so true! Have seen different versions of recent Yes or post Jon and definitely not and has never been the same group! I finally said I couldn’t bear anymore and pass on the group now!
Thanks again don for posting this great music….my mind goes back to great times a reason to keep living…not too sure anymore with this crap that’s out today thanks again btw I’m 64
Many thanks for your comments Michael! I just posted my last video from the concert and one of my favorites. "Awaken" which Jon plays harp on. This is a song only Jon can do too! So agree they don't make music like this anymore....enjoy from this 66 year old!
@@philipthomas6808 “he needs”?? Surely if he’s a different drummer then he can have a slight interpretation. Instead of “needing” to play like White or Bruford? Will never be like them two because he’s neither of them ahah. Still very accurate to the record. Gives off a very exciting feel. Just like on the record. I imagine he’s enjoying playing the music a lot! A big win for the prog community 🤘
@@jonathonedwardmiller Sorry I would have responded earlier but have been out of the country! I am sorry but I never ever said they were a cover band or even meant to imply such! These guys are truly GREAT and certainly better than the Yes group out there touring now!! I would love to see them again!!
Stimme voll und ganz zu! Es ist an der Zeit, den Namen „Ja“ nicht mehr zu verwenden, da Jon nicht mehr da ist und zwei weitere inzwischen verstorben sind!
That performance breathes new life back into the music. Excellent!
Great comment! Oh so true for Jon and the Band Geeks! Thanks for sharing your thoughts!
This man is 79!!! - what a gift, amazing!
He truly is amazing and we are so blessed to have had him for so many years! Let's hope there are many more!

Thank You for sharing this. Amazing sound quality from a mobile, yes? Again, great to hear this band with Jon Anderson.
You bet! Many thanks for your comment! I am hoping he has one more round of tours at some point!!
We were there! Awesome show!!
Great evening of memories! Thanks!
These guys are just awesome! They really compliment Jon nicely.
Totally agree! It's like they have been playing together for years! I think they had about a week of rehearsals before starting too!
It is wonderful to see this music reborn and played accurately with energy like it was almost back in the 1970's.
Indeed it is! Brings back great 70s memories! Thanks for comment!
Damn that was lit! Wonder how Jon must feel to be performing again with a band that loves this music as much as he does
I am sure great! You could really tell during his performance how much he was enjoying himself!
First Yes concert 1975. Thanks for the view.

If you have ever seen the Original Yes, just close your eyes 👀. Amazing!
You are so right! Miss those days too!
man. Jon is getting better with every show
There is no one else like Jon! I could listen to him all day!
Jon’s great here! Someone should send notes to Davison on how to properly perform these songs!
It’s not (just) about the vocal range.

@@donmarsh6002 The vocals are too clean, the tempo too slow, and the keyboards suck - modern Yes.

Very nice camera work. Thank you for posting!
Thanks for the positive comment! Had a couple of taller people sitting in front of me so it was a little of a challenge on the side! Great show!
Et hem. Kinda like seeing Yes live, after all these years.
Turns out the front man was the yessence, after all these yesrs.

Wow! Drummer is very accurate to the original record. Very nice to hear 🤘
Great stuff! Thanks for your comment!
He's overplaying it, he needs to play either the way Bill Bruford does or Alan White!!

I was there....they put the Steve Howe cover band to shame
It was a great show and I so agree with you!
@@donmarsh6002this is NOT a coverband. These guys are just as good as yes
