    Those were the pre-covid days, where Spotters could roam freely , like the wild beasts they are lol.
    First time I've seen a 'distant dummy/ ground signal.
    Window hanging bashers galore. What great times they were.
    Everything has gone too sterile and safe these days.

    Interesting day out. That was some complicated shunting. I'm surprised those Class 73s lasted all day in diesel mode without overheating. The semaphores at Yeovil PM are still there, only now they're upper quadrant!

      I don't think that the 73s were running, that's why they lasted !

      @@steveluckhurst2350 the climb up Pen mill, you can hear that it's only the Tractor doing all the work.
      73s all show, no go .

      @@ianjones4116 It is indeed. The 73 is still a great locomotive though. Dual mode was innovative thinking in 1960 !
