I learned too late not to do so even to family members!
They seem to forget and won't pay back even when they have become rich.

We can borrow money. But we must only borrow very minimally and only what we can afford. If they want 100/- we give them 20/- only. I donate to temples, for very sick people in need of medical treatment, very very poor people in need of financial assistance to further studies etc. (I also feed stray cats & dogs etc.)People who borrow with many promises to return only return thousand of excuses. Their attitude make us sick. We borrow them money and finally we become their enemies. Thousands of people have become beggars by borrowing money to family members, relations and friends. Actually we are living among fraudsters and we have to be very careful with our money. Good advice, Sir. Thanks a lot from Malaysia. 🍁🤝🍁

Totally different teaching to what the Bible scriptures teach. We are told to lend without expecting repayment and to give to all who ask of us . WE can never out give God.
Give and you shall receive, the measure you use to help others will be the measure you get back.

Poor people are God’s favorite and He commands us how to treat them. Your statements about giving and receiving does not apply to people who borrow and deliberately don’t pay their debts. I personally don’t lend to the poor I give them whatever their needs are and what I can afford.

In a nutshell: if you don't want to lend to your friends, lie to them. Thumbs down for me.
