  • Being in quarantine doesn't mean we can't grave hunt, so let's venture to the island of the dead while we stay safer at home, shall we?
Hart Island in the Bronx, New York is full of crazy American history. It's made the news recently because of the mass burials of Covid-19 victims but this land has a much larger story to tell. An ancestral Native American land, a burial place for the poor and diseased, full of prisons and insane asylums, Civil War training camp, WWII disciplinary facility, Cold War missile outpost and tons and tons of mass graves....Hart Island really has it all.
So join me on our unconventional adventure through history and dig up some stories you won't find on the news and honestly...don't we all need a break from the news?
I hope everyone is staying safe and sane during this time! Thank you so much for watching!!!

Your Patron level at $50 a month is a bargain. The pandemic diary, the heartfelt way you fill in your past history as you gleefully share the weirdest, strangest, creepy stuff is what I need to keep from slipping father into the insanity of this world. 🍷💃❤️🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹

Excellent video! Especially after all the computer troubles. You really got to the hart of this one. It is as good as or better than your report on the dam collapse, or the Spanish flu. I finally became a grave digger member; because no matter what shit is thrown at you; you don’t quit. Ka- Ching my favorite creep❤️💃🍷I 😍

Hi Malia! I love your videos! You are an excellent speaker.
I'm from Winnipeg. I was sooo curious about what our city does with unclaimed bodies. I couldn't 100% confirm but I am pretty sure they get sent to the universities for research. Then I went down a rabbithole lol. I found some really cool info about the oldest building still standing in Winnipeg.. i found out that the Vaughn Street Jail was where Earle Nelson was executed and I learned one of the houses he murdered in is still standing.
Thank u, ur vids bring out the curiosity in me and I have been able to focus on something instead of letting my anxiety get a hold of me while staying home.
