Excellent Review, I ordered the Wilson Blade v8 18x20 today after a demo between Pro Staff, Vcore Pro 97HD and few others. The blade outshines them all. I'm a 4.0 player with a one handed backhand.
I like your reviews. You are doing good in structuring your videos. But what I do miss a little bit is your "real" thoughts on each racket. I some how do have the feeling that you give every racket a 10 out of 10. Therefore I can not differ between the rackets because you only do mention the pro. So what would help is a little bit more cons and like I said your own opinion. Keep it up!! Cheers..
Hi, great review. Short and sweet as there isn't much new with the new Blade. Will you review the new Prestiges when they are released? I'd like to hear your take on them.
Thanks for reviewing the v8 vs v7. Curious, what are your thoughts on doing a comparison between the v7and v9? I think there are more similarities there than with the v8.
Have you tried the wilson blade 100 v8 ..not the 100L ..this 100 v8 version is only available on wilson's website and no where else...there is no mention of stiffness on it...did you feel V8 is little bit more stiffer feeling than V7 blades...i absolutely love the V7 feel flex technology...
Hey this is a great review! I really like your comprehensive reviews and I was wondering if you could do a review on the Vcore 95 its is rather unique racquet with its 16 x 20 string pattern and it seems to be hugely popular with a cult following and preferred to the 98 for various reasons. I am thinking of testing one of these instead of the VCore Pro 97 310 which is not as spin friendly.
Hey! Bumped into your comment some time after. Just my 2c regarding Vcore 95 - I can't say it is spin friendly, to be honest. My Head Prestige Pro gives me more spin, considering both have 95 sq. inch head. Yes, Head is 16x19, but string spacing is comparable when you look at how dense the pattern is side by side. And obviously, Blade 98 16x19 can give even more.
Great Review as always...Love ur channel..iam using wilson clash 100 with yonex poly tour pro strung at 50 lbs but still I'm having elbow pain and ball is flying long if I open up slightly..so can I leave the mains with same string and strung crosses with luxilon alu power 16g with 54 lbs or should I need to choose any multi ? What is ur suggestion?
Thanks, Dauren! From a performance standpoint, I've found the variation in swingweight to be marginal, and to your point on quality control will vary from one frame to the next. For example, the change might be undetectable for a player who had a v7 with a slightly higher swingweight than average and a v8 with a somewhat lower swingweight.
Hello. I would like to know if you would recommend this racket to me when I am quite a beginner and I have been on the court about 25 times this season. I tried the Wilson Clash 100 and it wasn't bad but so far I've only played with my insanely hard Wilson hammer 4.2 and I'm a little bothered by how much the Clash springs. And now I'm deciding whether to buy a Clash or a Blade v8 ... I'm a 185cm tall man
hi pavel, i have both the clash and the blade v7, to you as a beginner i would recommend the clash! it´s a great racket i think. the blade is more demanding and requires better technique

Everybody bought the v8 for the sick paint job including me 🤣
I’m waiting for the v9 because I don’t like the paint
@@carlosenriquecastellanoizq7724 I thought I was the only one! I'll hold out to see what the v9 looks like.
I prefer the H22 blade pro. It is a much versatile stick than blade 98. Why don’t Wilson release it in store ?
good to see ur review again..
Thanks, Riyan! I appreciate the encouragement.
Hi, great review. Short and sweet as there isn't much new with the new Blade. Will you review the new Prestiges when they are released? I'd like to hear your take on them.
Thank you! The Prestiges are on my list for sure.
Could you do a review and comparison on the 18/20 as well? Thanks!
It's coming soon - thanks for the recommendation!

Where did you get that awesome shirt?
Highly requested the babolat pure drive and yonex ezone line. Mybe also compare the babolat pure drive and ezone
Thanks for the suggestion, Ivan!
Thanks for reviewing the v8 vs v7. Curious, what are your thoughts on doing a comparison between the v7and v9? I think there are more similarities there than with the v8.
hola, a mi también me gustaría una comparación de la V7 y V9
Nice review. I was considering those two, but I ended up getting the Yonex Ezone 98, thanks to various reviews, including your own
Thank you! The Yonex EZONE 98 is an excellent frame, I hope it's working out well for you.
I just bought 2 Ezone 98s didn’t like em, selling them. Going back to blade :/
Nice review. How would you compare Blade vs Head Gravity mp?
Great review, as always! Thanks!
Hi, are you ever going to make a review out of head rackets? Many people including me would love to se a review of the new head graphene speed 360 +
Hi Gerónimo, thanks for the note! Yes, I do have plans to review Head racquets, starting with the Speed and Gravity lines.
V8 is slightly less stiff than the V7. It's got slightly more of that pillowy feeling.

Swing weight is a decent difference!
How about head speed 360+ MP

If you have arm issues, get rid of the alu power. Go with a softer poly like a hyper g soft.
Loving the content.
Thanks, Nick!
Thanks, helpful and timely as I’m looking at both Blades and the PS v13 moving from the PS v11L. Demoing them now.
Glad it was helpful, Victor! Thanks for the note.
Hey, great review, what's your opinion on blade v8 with higher swing weight, due to quality control issues of wilson, would it be more preferable?
Thanks, Dauren! From a performance standpoint, I've found the variation in swingweight to be marginal, and to your point on quality control will vary from one frame to the next.
For example, the change might be undetectable for a player who had a v7 with a slightly higher swingweight than average and a v8 with a somewhat lower swingweight.
I dont have any V7 or V8 , for a beginner, which racket is better?
the clash, i think
Where can I get that shirt you're wearing? It's awesome!
Hi, are you going to make a comparison for 18x20? It will be great !
Yes, I'll have that as one of my upcoming videos. Thanks for the recommendation!

I have both much prefer V8. Easier to play with. More power. Looks beautiful. Serves are absolutely killer
Awesome - glad you're enjoying the new frame. Thanks for taking a minute to share your perspective!
V6 is unbeatable
@@cold_servo_pie all have our own opinions ig
@@cold_servo_pie the cv version, there was kater the v6 without cv tech which was very liked
Way better than v7 except for slice 😩
V7 the best all time
Great review! But Alu power is actually a very high power string (hence the name)
Minor variation? WTF you talking about? The SW difference is huge!!
1st comment
Love ur videi
...
Minor changes ??? Seriously??? Lol
Swing weight is a massive change between v7 and v8!!!
V7 is trash
