I have sung this sublime piece of repertoire Strauss on various occasions and at the Proms with the BBC Singers and we recorded it onto CD and I have to say this performance is excellent with some wonderful dynamics. Congratulations DK Radio Choir! One of our staff tenors, who had better remain nameless, at 'Spright die Fuhrer' - in rehearsal, always shot to his feet with outstretched arm!!
Sooo sad - yes I agree completely - in the terrible and horrifying times in which we live now in 2020 such a divine music and fabulous interpretation could be like a remedy and so uplifting against desperation, anxiety and feelings to be lost or isolated ...actually I am crying because these sounds are transporting me in other dimensions...it is magic pure ...
