The clipper has the same features as the Alpha clipper. The trimmer has the same features as the Hitter trimmer. However, both Protégés DO NOT come with a charging stand or extra lids. We left out those extras to provide a wallet-friendly alternative. All Alpha and hitter lids will fit the Protégés, so feel free to purchase your custom lids separately if you need some extra spice.

There is no difference in performance from the Protege to the alpha. It is the same unit. The only different is the protege doesn't come with a charging stand or extra lids. Same with the protege trimmer and hitter trimmer. Same unit, same performance. Do you need blades for your clipper or trimmer? We have blades for both. Is the absolute hitters better than the evos? Many reviews I see and comments ppl are saying the blades that come with the evo don't hit as hard and aren't as good for lineups compared to the absolute hitter.
If you purchase the Evos now, they all come with our new Ultimate blade that will hit FOR SURE! The evos will also come with a ceramic and Black Diamond Carbon blade. The evo has a magnetic motor so will deliver more power than the hitters. But you can't go wrong with the hitters.

Just wasn't up to par to me as a professional clipper...I do have the absolute alpha 2.0 with the fusion blade and gold cutting blade, alot alot better..
