    I found this workout last week.
    I bought the machine 5 months ago.
    I had neck surgery and an ablation done, and I gained weight horribly.
    I was doing it slow till I got to walk it to 2 miles.
    Since I started thus workout been going slow, today I completed the workout in full.
    My husband looks at me and says he is very proud for sticking with it.

    I love all the sunny health elliptical workouts, they are so motivational. Without them, I would just do 20 min flat and maybe push myself once or twice and get fed up. I've saved your elliptical playlist to have fast access to them all to choose from. An immense thanks for putting the workouts out there for free.

    After a stroke 3 years ago when 68 I changed earring habits and now do cardio & light weights. I gone from 14.5stone to 10 st 10 lbs. The elliptical workouts like this one have been the backbone of my cardio as I have rheumatoid arthritis and 5 dropped bones in my feet so running hurts big time. Glad to report that I have recorded 3 mins 38 secs for 1 mile and 8 mins 20 for 2 mile sprints but mostly do 10 min & 30 min HIIT on elliptical Nordic track 9.5 machine. Helps me relax, sleep better and feel pretty good for 71 today.

I started doing this and the goal was to be out of breath everyday for 10 min.... I had to pause because I couldn't keep up... within a month I do this 3 times a week for 20 min! Next goal is 30min! I started changing my lifestyle before is started to exercise and I lost a total of 12kg! Let's go!!! 20 more!!! Thank you Sydney!!

    What is the name/brand etc. of elliptical you are using here, and how high is the pedal height from the floor up, on it? I'm trying to find one that will work in a room that is only 7'2 feet from floor to ceiling, which is obviously not much. But also one that is good to use, and not to extreme in price!?

    In Elliptical devices, do the hands actually have an effect???
    If you try the Elliptical devices, the entire effect comes from the legs, the hands only hold the handles.
    What do you think about that?

    • @SunnyHealthFitness
      @SunnyHealthFitness  6 дней назад

      Great question! On ellipticals, the handles do play a role in your workout. While the primary effect comes from the legs, using the handles helps engage your upper body, providing a more balanced full-body workout. It can also help with stability and posture, making the exercise more effective overall. If you have any more questions or need tips on getting the most out of your elliptical, feel free to ask!

    • @SamA-xu9gy
      @SamA-xu9gy 6 дней назад

      @@SunnyHealthFitness
      Thanks for the answer.
      The pedal mechanism is linked to the handles.
      If the effect comes from the legs, it will cancel the effect of the hands, and vice versa. If the effect comes from the hands, it will cancel the effect of the legs.
      I tried this thing practically on an elliptical
      Is it possible to design a mechanism to separate the pedals from the handles?
      For example, in the current device, the pedals remain as they are, and a separate mechanism is added to the handles,
      so that the user feels the presence of a load and effect on his hands and legs at the same time .

    • @SunnyHealthFitness
      @SunnyHealthFitness  4 дня назад +1

      Thank you for your detailed feedback! The design of our elliptical is intended to provide a synchronized full-body workout, but we appreciate your suggestion about separating the mechanisms for more independent movement. While this isn’t currently an option, your input is valuable, and we’ll definitely share it with our team. We’re always looking for ways to enhance the workout experience! 😊

      You can do this workout 1-2 times a day with proper hydration and about 1-2 rest days a week. There are other workout videos on our page that you can use for workouts as well that can all help aid with weight loss. Proper dieting and rest are always super important too.

    • @SunnyHealthFitness

      It's a little long, but if it's the length you like to do just hydrate well and plan for a pre or post workout snack like a fruit.

    Did it hurt knees?? I already injured my knees because of running on treadmill ☹

    • @SunnyHealthFitness
      @SunnyHealthFitness  2 года назад +1

      Elliptical machines are gentle on the knees, as it is considered a low-impact activity, and it also does not require as much range of motion in the knees, unlike cycling. However. we recommend consulting with your doctor before beginning a new exercise program.

    Hi. How Many Minutes at Day I Need to Train to Get Fit?

    • @SunnyHealthFitness
      @SunnyHealthFitness  2 года назад

      10 minute HIIT training is a start, but about 30 min average a day is recommended to achieve weight loss at a optimal pace. This video is useful for if you're strapped for time, or if you have other exercise for that day(a walk, strength training, a second workout video, etc). This video twice a day can work once morning and once at night. Dieting is going to greatly impact result too.

      There's all kinds of ways to use exercise equipment! For the most part there isn't a wrong way. If you're looking to improve, consistent workouts with the intensity that encourages increased heart rate, sweating, exhaustion, etc. will be better for your athletic health and help you achieve your fitness goals faster!

    how many calories would this burn

    • @SunnyHealthFitness
      @SunnyHealthFitness  3 года назад

      Since everyone's metabolism is different, the best way to estimate your calories burned is to use the metabolic equivalent equation. We estimate that the MET value of your workout will be between 6-8. Using this value you can use the following equation to determine your estimated calories burned. Total calories burned = Duration (in minutes)*(MET*3.5*weight in kg)/200. For real-time calorie tracking, you could use an activity tracker like our Smart Fit Watch.
