Nice collection! Personally I don't put much stock in how sizeable my anime collection is. I generally buy what I really enjoy and to have tangibly. So don't worry about the quantity mate, it's the quality that matters most! I love Death Parade. It had been on my Watch List for a long time before I finally got around to checking it out and man, that concept. So great. I love that it didn't cater to any cliche by the end, either! Lovely series, its morbidity was refreshing among these fan servicey shows of late. Goblin Slayer - I'm still kicking myself in the ass for not picking up the Limited Edition of this, lmao. I'm still not used to titles being "limited" as even LE's were fairly common place for years due to over production. Guess they're cutting back on how many copies they make these days and living up to that "limited" status. I hate it... I'm a cheapo, and now I can't be a cheapo if I really want a LE. ...I'm whining, I'll shush, haha. In the same vein, sort of, I'm sore that HOTD's CE was thrown on a super sale not too long ago... I'd already bought the basic bitch blu ray, and then they put the CE on sale for like 25 dollars... Woe is me. Wish they'd have done more with that show, but it served its purpose. Steins;Gate hasn't disappointed me yet, tbh. Between the alternate and the film, even. Damn impressive. Guilty Crown I bought because I saw this really cool AMV called Stay Close, and it turned me on to the show. Love the theme, but some of the episodes were definitely hit and miss with me. The Main Characters got on my nerves from time to time, too, but all in all, I don't regret buying it... Even at the full price I bought both parts for.
Do you have Afro Samurai: The Complete Murder Sessions Blu-ray? The anime series star Samuel L. Jackson as Afro and Ninja Ninja. He's so super talented, right? I never knew Samuel L. Jackson got into Japanese anime. Although, I will love to see him at my own hometown convention Anime Boston and Fan Expo Boston at Boston, Massachusetts, United States.
Heh. Maybe so. I’ve fully completed 62 as of right now. This is just my collection of Blu Ray. I’ve seen plenty more, but I can’t fully complete a series unless it really captures my interest.
Guilty Crown is nothing less than hot stinking garbage, animation is standard but the plot and overused tropes combined with the characters being unrelatable after the first 30 seconds. I had it as a part one and two, got rid of it for what I paid since they're getting harder to get your hands on which is the only thing adding value. If you want a nice shelf and something that's going to appreciate then happy days I guess
I’ve heard a lot of bad things like that about Guilty Crown, it was only a $10 Black Friday pick up last year so getting it didn’t hurt. I plan on giving it a watch finally when there comes a time where my internet is out or something. I suppose I’ll see for myself whether it really is so bad. The opening and ost though is incredible, the series must have had a high budget.
