I used to go to Disney World every summer. I was so upset the year I went and found out that this was gone. They have the festival of the Lion King in Animal Kingdom now but I still miss this. Thanks so much for posting!!!! never thought I would be able to see this again.
I knew it wasn't a dream! I had seen this b4 when I was a kid, so I was 2 young 2 fully remember it. It isn't still there, is it? If it was, that'd b awesome! I luv the Lion King movies!
they never tore it down. they just replaced it with Mickey's Philharmagic. I believe the person above me has the correct dates for it's running. first time I went to Disney was in 96 I believe, so the show was there. I was about 7 or 8 when they started preparing for the Mickey show so 2002 sounds about right.
well my dear friend, I cant say much of the shows. as for animatronics: most of them are rather old. and were definetely top of the line when they came out. And most of the "animatronics" in this show are actual puppets. If you want a good disney animatronic go look at the abominal snowman from the Expedition Everest ride. That thing has enough power to take your head off

Wow i remember watching this show when i was 4 i loved this show. The one in animal kingdom is still pretty good. and phillar magic is still good
Disney has yet to cease to amaze me with their their animatronics and shows.

I love disney and the wqy they put on there shows it just amazing its like your really sitting in a movie theater watching the movie.....WOW!!!!!
