- 1 Ingredient Almond Butter that’s so much cheaper than buying it!
Once you start making it yourself, you’ll never buy it again 🥰🥰🥰
You can add other ingredients such as honey or cinnamon or keep it plain with a little salt which is my personal favorite.
Full Recipe with tips are on my website lovelies, click the link below.

1 ingredient huh??
Explain the salt…
The salt is 1 ingredient
@@hexamidnightgaming1202 😂..good come back
Just use the salt and forget the almonds! There you go, your welcome 👍
My thoughts
ridiculous
Yes this is exactly how all nut butter is made! I did my research on nut butter processes as a chemical engineer. The only thing that I would hold caution to is the roasting part. You want to make sure it’s not over roasted and it’s not under roasted. If you do under roast it makes your mouth feel dry and your tongue feel sticky, it’s honestly a really weird feeling 😅. Over roasting tastes like burnt nut butter. Also based off of my lab results adding honey improves texture and taste!
No honey, adds sugar.
Me
How long do you roast the almonds please
"based of my lab results" - you are amazing 😊
Wat else I add besides honey. Watching from south Carolina
I found an easy foolproof way to roast almonds.
Cover a cookie sheet or baking pan with a layer of almonds. Put into a cold oven set at 350 degrees F. Turn on oven for about 7 minutes .. the time it takes to preheat the oven to 350 degrees. When the oven reaches 350 turn off the oven. Don't open the oven for a couple hours at least. The almonds will be perfectly roasted.
Must try!!!
THANKS...that really helps....
Many thanks I thought this video was missing some important information!
You can add argan oil and honey to the almond and you get the moroccan Amlou
I love Amlou. It is one of those things that you remember the very first time you have it....sooooo good!!!!
In my country almond butter is so common we mix it with honey and argan oil it's a traditional food Hir in Morocco hope you try our recipe
in morocco we have this spread called (AMLOU) originaly its mae fro roasted almonds grinded by a stone grinder and gradually adding argan oil (very delicious ) an some honey . but there is also a cheaper version made with roasted penauts and olive oil (it does not tase like penaut butter because we roast them the penaut butter is more thick and heavy while also sweet amlou is roasty chuncky but runny a bit )
Thank you❤
I’m definitely going to try it🤗
I tried this last time and I didn't have patience so I poured avacado oil in and made a sticky oily mess! 😢
RIP
Better and economical too !!!❤❤❤
It’s that crunch for me.😌 yum
Huumm, un délice cette recette 😋🤎
Ça donne envie d'en faire !
So delish ! I love your channel and shorts
The best !!!!
you have the best recipes
How long does it stay fresh and does it have to be refrigerated?
It probably does need to be refrigerated bc it doesn’t have any preservatives in it
Only if you make a lot and don't eat often. We never refrigerated ours. Was never around long enough.
@@f.miller9522 Thank you for your reply! Have a nice day!😁
In the US, it’s usually cheaper to buy it prepared.
No its like its like 12 bucks or more a bottle
U should soak the almond overnight nd take skin off.
Would you roast them first then soak?
Yes, skin off and eat the almonds!!
why would you off the skin. it's edible
Beautiful, almond butter!
Yum I'll try! 👍
that looks so good!!😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋
What food processor do u use?
I have tried this before and it‘a amazing
I thought you were making a natural face pack for a second
😮😮😮 I love it ❤❤❤❤
So simple so easy ! sooo nice ☺️👍 Respect from Queensland Australia 🇦🇺🏄♂️🍹
Thank you.
Almond butter is so expensive but here in Alberta its actually cheaper to buy the premade stuff. 1 kg of Almonds is like $30.
Was gonna say. I don't live in Canada but almonds are very expensive here as well, and electricity has become more expensive too. I do want to give it a try someday but I know I won't be saving any money by making it myself
Just pay attention to label. STAY AWAY if it has palm oil!
YUM. YUM. YUM. SO GOOD FOR THE SKIN. YOU HAVE LOVELY SKIN
Theirs lectin in the almond peel. I would use peeled almonds.
no one care
You're right and I heard that lectin in high amounts is not good for us.
Which food procesor did you use to make this nut butter?
Was waiting for the second ingredient… the salt didn’t fail.
she said all you NEED to make almond butter is almonds and she's correct, even without the salt it still makes almond butter, the salt is optional not a necessity
The salt makes it 2 ingredients just fyi
she said you only NEED one ingredient to make almond butter, even without the salt it is still almond butter, salt is optional not a necessity so she's right
Yumm!!!
Yum!!!
Do you refrigerate ? How long does it last?
WHY NOT TELL US HOW LONG IT TAKES FOR IT TO BECOME BUTTER??
You’ll see it when the machine does it 😂 it’s pretty obvious. Add a little olive oil.
I’ll stick to my organic one which I purchase at Costco and the Kirkland brand is by far so delicious and no mess to clean up! 😊
so two ingredients….
no, she's right, you only NEED almonds to make almond butter, you don't need to add salt, even without the salt the almonds will still make almond butter
can anyone describe that taste? pureed almonds with a pinch of salt doesnt sound that appetizing
Use roasted almonds!!!!! They taste so good
Its quite good and has a smoky, almondy taste which goes well on bread, with fruit, or in smoothies. Due to the high fat content of almonds, it becomes rather creamy as well.
@@hellodumzo i take it back, sounds pretty good
So I recently just bought some, chunky almond butter, and it’s okay. Me, being a sweet tooth thought it’d be sweet and it’s not at all 😂 duhhh but it just tastes like almonds and salt. I mix it with fruit.
Well peanut butter is just peanuts and salt .
do you like peanut butter ?
Yummy 🥰🥰
Hello, what blender/food processor do you use?
Peanuts work this way also
Oooooo... Can you show how to do homemade Pistachio spread? 🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺
Its the same process
😂😂😂😂
same process with pistachios bruh
I make this all the time with cashew butter and add a drizzle of maple syrup on top too
She just didn’t want you paying attention? Your roast, and then you put in the processor same thing
2 ingredients*
You're not obligated to salt it. Besides, salt is a seasoning that you'll likely have, so still pretty dang easy.
❤❤❤❤
You need an food processor or a blender to
A food processor or blender isn't an ingredient 🤦
Looks delish, but that toast is way way way too hard, haha💗
Lol for real!
Remove the Brown paper shell on the almonds 1st otherwise it makes your joint swell and you can get authorities from it soak them 1st in water To remove the Brown shell covering
Thats not almond butter. Its blended almond and it taste like blended almonds. Its a big difference between a nut butter.
No that’s literally how all nut butter is made in all production facilities. I’m a chemical engineer and as part of my research in food engineering I focused on nut butters. I had to work on creating efficient and affordable production processes for Jiff.
Okay for how many days can i have it in the fridge
How long can we use it
I ingredients? How do u make spreadable and syrupy?
How long to blend ?
Cheaper? Are we sure? Nuts are expensive
That was 2 ingredients 😂
You only need the almonds... You don't have to add salt, the salt is optional. Even without the salt it will still make almond butter
So you need salt and almond = 2 ingredients.
Salt is optional ☺️
How should I store it after it's made? Could it be refrigerated?
Refrigerating nut butters is always good imo. They’re high in fat so they like to go rancid when you’re storing at room temp long term. That’s at least been my experience.
@@jaxondial3356 thank you
Adoro amêndoas, poderia me dizer qual o ingrediente que usou depois de triturar as amêndoas para dar essa cremosidade.
I thought it was 1 ingredient
She said you only NEED one ingredient and she's correct, even without the salt it will still make almond butter. The salt isn't needed it's optional
@@geneatkinson3052 dam my bad bro Wy YoU bUllY mE
@@THHRECORDS just trying to clarify that you can make this without the salt, especially bc some people can't have salt
@@geneatkinson3052 I understand I’ll probably try this tbh
How it went fluid form , is natural Öl of it?!
Almonds contain oil inside naturally, when you blend it the oil comes out
So Salt is not really existing? 😂 Just a hoax of the pepper industry?
She said you only NEED one ingredient and she's correct even without the salt it still makes almond butter. The salt isn't needed, it's optional
Homemade Baadaa?
😊
I can never eat almonds raw. Too hard. I think ill try this. Can you add maple syrup?
I would think that honey would be better.
I think maple syrup would be wonderful especially with a little brown sugar
Okay that's amazing. Thx!
Can we use almond flour?
I don't think almond flour still has the natural oils in it, so no..
@@LilPoopsieI have used almond flour and it works. But I roasted the flour in a pan in the oven , being careful to stir it often. Until it got to the desired color. I didn't use any oil... But I processed the butter in my champion juicer fit with the solid piece of plastic rather than the screen piece of the same shape designed for juicing. The solid piece is for nut butters.
Don't need bread just bananas and almond butter
😂
Almonds are expensive

Wouldn’t it taste better if they were blanched?
bake ... See my directions
@@ShirasongMusic can you bake them first then blanch?
@@ThingsILove2266 Never tried to blanch so I don't know. I am perfectly happy with my self discovery of how to bake them without burning them.
1M calories in a spoon
Well, healthy "fats" get metabolized different & burned for energy Vs stored .. 🤷🏻
Fr I’d stick to the processed one. Sure it’s more nutritional but that’s like an entire meal in a few tablespoons
@@anikaghwe have a spread like this but with even more calories added (argan oil ) and people eat everyday and are fine we dont even have obesity in my country . its not about the calories its about what is in those . processed ones will make you fat and with health issues even if they are low calories because evrything is added unnaturally
@@ravenanbu5708 understand. I’m not a big peanut butter person

The letter "L" . . In the word almond , is silent . . Like the "L" in salmon . .

Better without skins
I thought the oone ingredient was cashews darnnit
She said you only NEED one ingredient and she's correct even without the salt it will still make almond butter, salt isn't needed it's optional
