Personally I like to look at Meltzer's ratings since I ain't got the time to watch that many matches. I still make up my own mind about how good the match was in the end, his star ratings to me are like recommendations. Anything 4* or higher is a really good match and worth watching.

I know I am way late but Jake Roberts vs Rick Rude wasn´t all that bad (I'd give it a star) ... it was a tournament match for the World Wrestling Federation Championship. it was mostly b.o.r.i.n.g. ... variations of 'flex, punch, bodyslam, sleeper hold or armbar' with random movves in between, streched over 10-12 min (15min time limit). the action happened in the last 3-5 min and ended in a timeout draw (while teasing a dirty finish) eliminating both from the tournament.

Dave and Bryan have stated on their show that is the only slight ding to an otherwise perfect match
