Anxiety and major depression are brain disorder, aggravated by social problems, treated by appropriate meds. If a physician is prescribing it for you, follow their directions to the letter. They put in a lot of hard work! Great job! When my dog dug holes in the yard, our dog trainer told us to bury a dog poop in the hole and cover it up. She would not dig in those areas and eventually stopped digging.
It's really interesting how people can think their dog's behaviour "isn't that bad" and not recognize the extent of their distress even though they continually run circles around the house, yelping and unable to focus on anything else whenever their companion leaves, yet if a person continually ran circles around the house, crying and inconsolable when their friend left, they would be disturbed and seriously concerned. People know animals have emotions, but I think many also don't fully empathize with those emotions or don't really see them as as "real" as our own

Antidepressants can affect people in certain ways. They can make you emotionless for example, no reason why there wouldn't be affects on animals. Medication should be a last resort if it's something that can be treated with training
Weston probably thinks hes got to protect everyone .. we have no idea what hes been through we know hes lost a best friend ..😢 please dont stop and start an ssri ! Please please im on ssris and stopping them suddenly is awful .. it feels awful !
As long as you train it well you'll have a great little best friend! And that means disciplining it when necessary instead of letting it get away with anti social behaviour just because it's 'tiny, cute and harmless'. Good luck!
It really boils down to how well trained they are, and also making sure to respect their boundaries. That’s with any dog, but most definitely with chihuahuas. ❤
i love watching these- a cupple days ago when my granny had to go outside to talk n greet someone n i was inside with our dog and i gave her treats n told her to sit lay down give paw n spin n all the tricks she can do n she stopped whinning and sittin next to the door :]
When Weston panicked when doyle left briefly it is such like my pit bull and lab when we take our lab for a walk or for a vet visit the pit bull we have she gets sooo upset cries and barks for hours on end and paces around the entire house but when she’s back she’s fine
My big Aussie shepherd hates water too and won’t get into the bath. We have to wash him in the shower (and whoever is doing it gets wet in the process lol). We use body blocking and closing the shower door (along with treats etc but he doesn’t care for treats when water is involved eventhough he’s super food motivated) and that’s the only way we can wash him. Wish I can afford to build one of those walk in dog baths 😆 I’ve seen them in fancy houses and always wanted one. I hope you have a big shower at your house!
Its a good thing dogs are food motivated…😅 what if they weren’t? Treats are everything in training. They associate it with everything positive. Thats what I like about Victoria. She always uses treats for positive reinforcement. Cause wow…these two owners… yikes.
Best neighbors ever, i would be so happy to have them because you bother them and everything to train your own dog so in the future the neighborwood is calmer
I trained my dog to go toilet on command, every time she went toilet I used to say “be quick” so it didn’t take long before these words would encourage toileting, I wonder if this approach would have worked with the poop fence?
I don’t get it. Why do people get dogs when they are obviously not interested in investing the time that is needed. And rescue dogs with a history to that.
a lot of people greatly underestimate what it takes to properly own a pet and give them a life they deserve. they usually are completely unaware how the things THEY are doing are affecting the dog unless they seek help from a trainer who works with behavioral issues.
Are these two adults educated enough to understand the proper use of medication regimes, the proper self discipline and exercise that they need, as well as their child, and their three dogs?. I suggest them to rid of their T.V. Having a T.V. isn't bad , unless it takes over individuals' lives and breeds laziness and apathy.
My chiwiennie loves his yorkie house mate. But when they spot a dog on a walk, he turns on my yorkie to show off to the walking dog. It only happens when I am not there
There’s spaces were dogs can pee or poop cause there business juices damages plants as well as transfer unwanted diseases and bacteria and when people walk on them it can go to the shoe as well and get in the house, you’ll notice why gardeners have Matt’s you use before going into the garden fields and why there’s little walkways to separate paths to home form actual grass or plants.
You know I don't think many people take into consideration how their pets feel when they have a new child. I know I'm one of those people this episode was very eye opening ❤ I love seeing Victoria do her thing.😊
This made me cry because sometimes I have to leave my dogs in their kennels at home they are fine in the kennel but once i grab my keys all 4 of them are not just barking but screaming like they are being tortured and I am afraid one day one of them is going to have a heart attack stroke or something i don't know what to do they know the kennels are safe places and I am only gone 45min to a hour any advice is welcome and when I let them out they run cycles around me and I go right to the door and wait for them to calm put them on their leads and let them outside and then its again freaking out because I am not outside with them
This owner needs her head read I agree with the comment below, keep the dog medication going like the doctor said, anyway thanks to Victoria all dogs are getting better at there tasks ,thanks for sharing this

I take fluoxetine too and issues start to happen when you miss it several days in a row. Don't ever abruptly stop SSRIs or have your animals do that either. That was very foolish of that woman.
I’m guessing animal medication is a lot less intense but also it’s own thing all together, my experience I was taking anti depressants and my ex said “oh you’re fine now you should get off them”… 2 weeks later I had the worst week of my life. It takes time to build up in the system and it takes time to wear off. You can’t just not take it and yes I agree accidentally missing one day, no problem. But if you keep skipping it, it’ll eventually catch up to you because it takes time to get out of your system

Antidepressants can affect people in certain ways. They can make you emotionless for example, no reason why there wouldn't be affects on animals. Medication should be a last resort if it's something that can be treated with training
This show's name should be changed to "It's always the human"
Can Linda go to the shelter?
Weston probably thinks hes got to protect everyone .. we have no idea what hes been through we know hes lost a best friend ..😢 please dont stop and start an ssri ! Please please im on ssris and stopping them suddenly is awful .. it feels awful !
I also have two labs that are TERRIFIED of water. I'm gonna try Victoria's techniques with them to see if they have any improvements
That was great stuff. I enjoy the way Victoria works with the family
Poor Weston when Doyle was taken😞💔
Linda looks like an irl poison ivy
A lot of people say chihuahua’s are aggressive/mean but I really want to own one one day, I think their cute
My nacho is the friendliest, sweetie in the world. 4 pds of love n energy. 🎉
As long as you train it well you'll have a great little best friend! And that means disciplining it when necessary instead of letting it get away with anti social behaviour just because it's 'tiny, cute and harmless'. Good luck!
They are wonderful dogs, not babies. Treat them like a dog and they will be your best friend.
Victoria is so good!
When Weston panicked when doyle left briefly it is such like my pit bull and lab when we take our lab for a walk or for a vet visit the pit bull we have she gets sooo upset cries and barks for hours on end and paces around the entire house but when she’s back she’s fine
I really need one of those walk-in bathtubs for my mastiff!! I could probably make one too?
I’m pretty sure you can buy them as well! (Not sure how much they cost though)
Linda and Ryan shouldn’t say we love his personality meaning they like when his anxiety is acting up when really it’s wrong.
I love this episode. I love how positively the dogs changed with Victoria’s training. Their doggos are adorable 🥰🥰🥰
I wonder if their friends call them 'poop fence' now. I would.
Well no wonder I'd be annoyed at the name killer to!
I trained my dog to go toilet on command, every time she went toilet I used to say “be quick” so it didn’t take long before these words would encourage toileting, I wonder if this approach would have worked with the poop fence?
Hello 👋 how are you doing today??
Listen to Victoria she is right and knows best and here to help you ❤
I don’t get it. Why do people get dogs when they are obviously not interested in investing the time that is needed. And rescue dogs with a history to that.
a lot of people greatly underestimate what it takes to properly own a pet and give them a life they deserve. they usually are completely unaware how the things THEY are doing are affecting the dog unless they seek help from a trainer who works with behavioral issues.
i love watching you it teaches me a lot and im only10
Are these two adults educated enough to understand the proper use of medication regimes, the proper self discipline and exercise that they need, as well as their child, and their three dogs?. I suggest them to rid of their T.V. Having a T.V. isn't bad , unless it takes over individuals' lives and breeds laziness and apathy.
If you start to give too much credit to Linda, please remember she put that hideous dye on Killer because "Killer likes it."
When I heard her say floxotine I was happy cause that’s what I take
Labs can hate baths but love swimming
it's funny how Victoria leaves and the cameraman just stay around recording
Anyone else getting the vibe that the dude in this episode is REALLY questioning his life-choices?
Aww they are all such cute dogs 😊
At the end of the day, they applied on the show, they wanted to be better owners and learn . Good on them ! I learned a lot.
Neighbor: Man your dogs are really chill...Ryan: yeah we got them on barbiturates 🤣🤣
Doyle and I both have a fear of water. I overcame my fear of water ever since I took swimming lessons.
These two parents are precious too…Don’t look while they poo! That was funny.
If you start to give too much credit to Linda, please remember she put that hideous dye on Killer because "Killer likes it."
My chiwiennie loves his yorkie house mate. But when they spot a dog on a walk, he turns on my yorkie to show off to the walking dog. It only happens when I am not there
She loves killer. She loves that dog so much, you can just tell.
My lab has never had a bath. She's just over a year old, she refuses to get in the bath but it's the bath she hates, not the water
Victoria is the canine Supernanny and Jackson Galaxy is the feline Supernanny
There’s spaces were dogs can pee or poop cause there business juices damages plants as well as transfer unwanted diseases and bacteria and when people walk on them it can go to the shoe as well and get in the house, you’ll notice why gardeners have Matt’s you use before going into the garden fields and why there’s little walkways to separate paths to home form actual grass or plants.
Well done owners keep it up ❤
Why do people treat dogs like a human baby 😮 jeez people dont learn
I was like, "First world problems :D"
Will there ever be an actual NEW episode?
I’ve just started watching this show! I really like it! It’s giving me great tips for our 3 dogs! ❤
12:30 His face is like "i have to work, damn it".
You know I don't think many people take into consideration how their pets feel when they have a new child. I know I'm one of those people this episode was very eye opening ❤ I love seeing Victoria do her thing.😊
You guys should NOT HAVE dogs . If you don’t like cleaning up after them then you can pay someone to do it for you.
The chihuahua name is KILLER lol!
This made me cry because sometimes I have to leave my dogs in their kennels at home they are fine in the kennel but once i grab my keys all 4 of them are not just barking but screaming like they are being tortured and I am afraid one day one of them is going to have a heart attack stroke or something i don't know what to do they know the kennels are safe places and I am only gone 45min to a hour any advice is welcome and when I let them out they run cycles around me and I go right to the door and wait for them to calm put them on their leads and let them outside and then its again freaking out because I am not outside with them
the fact that the lil chihauhau didn't join the dog fight show that she is the most well behaved
Way to go parents! Keep up the good work :)
This owner needs her head read I agree with the comment below, keep the dog medication going like the doctor said, anyway thanks to Victoria all dogs are getting better at there tasks ,thanks for sharing this
When you hear the word chihuahua, you know it’s the most deadliest thing you’re ever gonna watch 😃
A dog in the house that hasn’t had a bath in 9 months. Whew! The smells.
They were so receptive and on board with everything except the medicine. Hopefully the listen to the professionals this time, because they did a great kob with everything else
Wish the vet would have recommended trying to find the little dog Westin was with. To try and set up playdates.
The fluoxetine dogs get is the same one that humans get
