In skiing and stopping, you don't focus on the ski you want to be standing on, you focus on the foot you want to get off of. Guess what happens when you get off your right foot? You will be balanced on your left foot. Your skis Need you to balance on one foot after the other, that doesn't mean you think about that one. If you do, you will end up pushing it away from you while you try to Make it turn and get on edge. Then it won't be under you and you won't be balanced on it.
All the leaning of your shoulders over the outside ski won't put your weight there if you are leaning your hips away from it due to fear or insecurity. Take your weight off that downhill foot and balance on the arch of your uphill arch and your entire body falls into place automatically. You take your weight off the downhill ski to start the turn, not at the end of it. These "Instructors" don't ski like this and yet they Teach it to you because that's what it Looks and Feels Like. That's Two Dimensional Reacting rather than Three Dimensional Thinking.

109 people gave this a thumbs up to feel like they understood what she was saying, not because they thought she was teaching correctly. She wasn't! Not even close. Not even what skiing is. This was "Flintstone" skiing.

@tnkl9230 The problem is that you won't find correct teaching demonstrations anywhere. Read all my comments at my video. That's the best chance you have.
