Having finally “wolfed out”, I imagine her emotions are raw from the physical, psychological, hormonal, and even spiritual changes after her transformation along with the feelings she’s had to deal with due to her mother. You can see how tightly she hugs Wednesday. Wednesday is thin, I agree, but Enid’s hands reach almost to her opposite elbows in length. She still had friends whom she can always relate to but it was never enough. Wednesday then arrived and became her roommate, though they don't share anything in common (completely the opposite of her personality) but they're both open to each other. Because of Enid's strong emotion towards Wednesday and wanting to save her friend, she was finally able to wolf out and transform into a werewolf to which never happened in the past years. It was only when Wednesday arrived into her life and that she saved her from the hyde. Wednesday who is against with hugs made an exception for her after seeing Enid's worried face, finally acknowledging that she truly cares for her. Wednesday hugged her back, showing her thanks of being saved by her and Enid saving Wednesday as a thank you for making her reach to her full potential as a werewolf. Both girls really had a strong and powerful friendship saying you don't need someone who is exactly the same as you but someone who can see you as you, accept and understand you in all ways even if it means understanding you differently. Edit: Wow thanks HAHAHA I didn't know my comment was getting likes uwu 🥺 OK to sum it up, their friendship was so genuine and heartfelt that Wednesday became the very reason why Enid finally was able to wolf out (most especially she needed someone who's the same gender as her, could understand, listen, and also to fill up the empty spot which Enid's own mother couldn't give). Enid had friends before she met Wed, a supportive/understanding dad, and even dated Ajax (the boy she liked) but still wasn't enough (same gender affection) but after knowing Wed's in danger, she wolfed out. Enid, on the other hand, finally made Wed come out of her shell/comfort zone of being a solitude person (hence the hug) finally accepting Enid as her friend and also a 'thank you' to Enid after getting saved by her from the hyde.

It was only when Wednesday arrived into her life and that she saved her from the hyde. Wednesday who is against with hugs made an exception for her after seeing Enid's worried face, finally acknowledging that she truly cares for her. Wednesday hugged her back, showing her thanks of being saved by her and Enid saving Wednesday as a thank you for making her reach to her full potential as a werewolf. Both girls really had a strong and powerful friendship saying you don't need someone who is exactly the same as you but someone who can see you as you, accept and understand you in all ways even if it means understanding you differently.

OK to sum it up, their friendship was so genuine and heartfelt that Wednesday became the very reason why Enid finally was able to wolf out (most especially she needed someone who's the same gender as her, could understand, listen, and also to fill up the empty spot which Enid's own mother couldn't give). Enid had friends before she met Wed, a supportive/understanding dad, and even dated Ajax (the boy she liked) but still wasn't enough (same gender affection) but after knowing Wed's in danger, she wolfed out. Enid, on the other hand, finally made Wed come out of her shell/comfort zone of being a solitude person (hence the hug) finally accepting Enid as her friend and also a 'thank you' to Enid after getting saved by her from the hyde.

Like she did for her brother against the bullies. I fully believe she would definitely hurt anyone that hurt Enid, mentally or physically.
I got that too from that comment. Was a a great way to show her gratitude as a friend in a deep way even though she doesn't show it physically she says things she really means it.
