So happy to spend a little time with you here and that you decided to come back on Flosstube, your projects are everything I love !!! so so stunning xx
Glad you decided to come back to Flosstube! I definitely get how you were feeling - I talked myself out of posting many times before I finally went for it. 😊
Great flosstube. Some beautiful WIPs. Lots of good advice and so fun when you smile and laugh. You will be a star. I look forward to seeing your tiny stitching. How fun.
I saw your most recent video come up, ash has to stop it immediately to come back and start at the beginning, because I knew I’d want to watch them all! Your projects are beautiful, and I really enjoyed everything about your video. Thank you for sharing😊
So glad I found you! You did a wonderful job with your first video and I love your projects! Will definitely watch for your second one! Keep them coming…
As a fellow new flosstuber who also does crats outside of cross stitch, I'd love to see some of your knitting and stuff too alongside the stitching o3o
You have great patterns and clear goals. I enjoyed your WIP parade. So many large pieces! They are beautiful! Your mother will love the gift! Thank you for sharing! ~Michele
Wow!! So many big beautiful projects!! You are doing so good and have lots of progress on them!! Funny enough I started hand embroidery first and I would buy random kits from the store sometimes and I accidentally got one with cross stitch in it.... And now I love cross stitch!! I still do embroidery but I do more cross stitch. I love all the cool different stitches you can do. There is so many ways to add texture and 3D elements. But something about cross stitch I just enjoy more.
Hi Jenny - I have done embroidery for many years and French knots come out better and are easier to do when you do them two-handed which means have the fabric very taught in a hoop or q-snap and make it steady and free top and bottom in a stand - either floor stand or lap stand. Then you have one hand above and one below the hoop and your needle "tag teams'" with each hand. Lovely video.
great video. we have similar tastes... not many of us are doing a Modern Folk annual and a Long Dog at the same time LOL. I'm doing Fruits of Plenty in silver and gold, and Ragnorak in dark antique blue. plus a few other odds and ends. I'm going to enjoying catching up with your latest videos. xoxo
Loved your video and subscribed to your channel. I also have the Karen Kluba Rosewood Manor Woodland Christmas and plan to start it for my Christmas in July on the 25th of that month. Can’t wait until your next video❣️
I so enjoyed your first video. Your hand dyed fabrics are gorgeous. Mine never come close to looking like yours. Looking forward to your next video to see all your lovely projects.
Hi from Australia ☺️ I love all you stitching. You have a great eye for choosing colours ✨💜☺️ The lighting in that room was perfect to show off your work too by the way 👌
Jenny, I am so happy you tried again! I checked in to your flosstube because I was intrigued by the ‘Read’ part of your name, but no reading was mentioned this time. But I was SO impressed with your Modern Folk pieces and the Long Dog piece, as well as the Fox and Rabbit SAL. Your work is lovely!!!! And I’m impressed at your dying your own fabrics. Are you starting out with white Aida or Evenweave that you get at Hobby Lobby or Michaels? Good for you! Purchasing overdyed linens and Aidas is so expensive. Thanks for a lovely visit. Keep it up! I’ll look forward to your next flosstube. Carol in Texas
Thanks so much for the sweet comment, Carol! I was thinking I may start mentioning some recents reads I have enjoyed in my next video, I am an avid reader! Yes, I typically start with plain white evenweave/aida. Though for the Blooming Swan project I used an off white Charles Craft linen, that was my first time trying that and I liked how it turned out.
Great job on your first (again) Flosstube! I really enjoyed seeing all of your projects. Could you please say what colours you used in Fruits of Plenty? Sorry if I missed it, but I really like the combination. Thanks!
My jaw dropped when you held up the first WIP. They are all so gorgeous! Please continue showing us your progress!
Aw thanks so much!! ♥️ I’ll be back with another video soon! :)
Well done! Love your colour choices for the long dog and the modern folk embroidery pieces. You have a great eye!

Hi. I'm new to your channel. I noticed that you didn't put any initials in the spaces for you Fruits of Plenty.
Oh wow I totally missed that part of the pattern!! Thanks so much for pointing it out, I will have to get those added!
