Thanks for sharing. I could not understand what is the meaning of “allow my back” and “stay on your back”.

The patient says 'Why can't I lie on my back?' (she speaks quite quickly)
'stay on your back' means not to change position but to remain lying on your back (the patient would be at risk of developing pressure areas)
