In this video I give you guys my honest opinion on my brand new 2023 Ducati Panigale V4 SP2. The V4 has been my DREAM bike for years so the fact that I was able to purchase an SP2 blows my mind. I am absolutely IN LOVE with it. We got number 494 Fast Lane Gang! Thank you for all the support. I would not be here without you guys. Im close to completing the 600 mile break-in service and wanted to do an initial review of the bike before it gets broken in.

I have a Panigale V4 with Carbon wheels and Akra exhaust, but is hard for me to justify 40K for that bike, I just don’t see the value there. Just a humble opinion. But the bike is BEAUTIFUL, enjoy it 👍
Look at the price of the Superleggera wheels it comes with and then you’ll see the value… along with the other parts included (STM, Brembo calipers and master cyclinder, GPS and DDE, Rizoma rearsets, etc). If you like the parts then the price is justified.
@@sp00ky1969 it’s a brand you’re mainly paying for not the parts. Those parts wouldn’t be nearly as much if they didn’t have a Ducati name on it. Regardless still an awesome and one hell of a piece of artwork.

My Streetfighter is similar matte black, I use Hawaiian shine from Jax wax after every ride it does amazing it’s also safe on gloss finishes too! Love the Ducati addition! 🎉

Matte black ducati 1199s here and i use this stuff called “Bead Maker” by “P&S”. You can find it on amazon for like 15$. Its a spray and you just wipe it off with a micro fiber towel. I like it because it leaves a nice shine and acts as a ceramic coating. Good stuff.

I couldn't agree more. Especially when riding, it sucks when you have to go inside to pay for gas. Some places make you take off your helmet for safety and security, which i understand.

Beautiful bike, I personally wouldn’t ride it nearly enough to justify the $40k price tag, it’s hard to enough to justify $15k for my 959 that I don’t ride enough, but I’d love to own one no doubt 👌🏼
It's the upgraded rear sets that make the shifts hard I had the same issue with my v4r and maintaining the v4r is big head ache clutch plates go after 3000kms the suspension was race ready so it was very bad for the road I recommend the v4sp you get the best of both worlds with that bike and they look amazing
The SP2 also has a dry clutch so I know it’s also gonna be a headache to maintain in that spect like the V4R…but everything else I absolutely love. Good to know about the rear sets! Thanks for watching brotha 🤘🏾 #FastLaneGang 🏁

My issue about "loud pipes saves lives": loud pipes actually just gives you tickets.... it let's the local cops know you're coming and to get ready for radar.
My 848 Evo is matte black and I usually clean it with Meguiar’s. Used it for every car and every bike and it doesn’t disappoint.

Ceramic coat your bike I recommend Gtechniq halo v2. Stays cleaner a lot longer and doesn’t give the matte color any shine. Super easy maintenance washes
You definitely have to be positive with shifts. For a Euro 5 exhaust it’s actually a decent sound. I still want to upgrade the exhaust at some point though - trying to decide which option to go for. The cost of the extra parts on this bike are greater than the difference in cost from a V4S, so it’s certainly worth it if you like those parts. Just get the dealer price for the Superleggera wheels that are on the bike for a start. 😉
I love the way Ducati looks, but I can't get over the sound regardless of the exhaust.

Agreed - I always thought Ducati's sound like a lawnmower on meth. I just don't understand the appeal of Ducati's sound - I'll take the note from my 2005 ZX-10R any day of the week....But, man, that V4 SP2 is one gorgeous bike. It's right up there with the MV Agusta F4 as an all-time great museum bike.
You get it good and clean even of oils and ceramic coat it. I put a couple coats of ceramic on and then use a Ceramic Quick Detailer to keep it looking good.

You need to add akrapovic ti wheelbarrow exhaust. Not cheap but, looks amazing. And sound is awesome

About the decibels: Do wear earplugs especially on a Panigale as the exhaust is right under you and the sound bounces off the tarmac up under your helmet. Even with plugs, you will develop Ducatinnitus eventually. Don't ask how I know that.
12 yrs ago I was like do I buy 2 , 40k motorcycles or do I buy my currently paid for home for 72k 😂 . Now I can afford one of those but now I'm like 40k for a bike or 40k in silver 😂

If you’re so smart you should know all the reasons why leveraging enough funds to pay off a note is dumb when you can offset your payment and interest by utilizing the same funds in an investment. In reference to the matte color I always used a good quality car wash on it for washing but you can’t use wax so I use Meguires Quick Detailer to wipe it down after washing and in between washes. Nice bike my man!

Solid points man, I am between the v4sp2 and the v4r. I track my bikes, but I street them too. I have an R on order but if I find a sp2... so for matte paint I use wizards matte cleaner. Ducati is a gearbox where you have to be confident in your shifts, I've owned every panigale iteration and they are the same with shifts.
I would never pay 40 k for a bike I can go almost as fast on a Gsxr 750 for 13 k or a 1000 for 20 k . But I guess if people like it that's their choice. 🙂

Matte bike here! I'm a sick bastard and just wipe it down with Lysol wipes and a Swiffer duster. Judge all you want, it works.
Great video, I to have a panigale v4sp and so far I've been using the motul matt surface cleaner. I wash it first with soap and water dry it off with a shammy leather and compressed air and then polish with the matt cleaner. It work really way and keeps that nice matt finish.

Quick tip.. when your filling up gas in your bike sit on it and stand it up straight. You coulda fit that extra 80 cents easily plus more without overfill. Helps out on long trips getting an extra half gallon from standing it straight up.

I love the key-tag. If you can customize it: for example, you have the name V4 SP2(for Luna). I think it would be a GREAT idea if your customers could have the name of their bikes..........BMW S1000rr, Aprilia RSV4, Ninja H2 etc on the key-chains(which you probably already decided to do)!!.
I use Harley’s “denim paint” cleaner. It’s made for matte paint and it works so well! I’d try it for sure
409 + microfiber cloth, people have said i was crazy. but i have been using it for years and it will get anything off like brake dust, new asphalt sticky, bugs come right off on the front and i use it on my helmet with an tinted visor. i have been riding for over 20 yrs and no issues with it damaging the bike.
I think so. Considering how fast and capable it is. I think these put out almost as much hp as a stock tuned H2.
Stock for stock…yeah, I think they put down around similar power on a dyno. Kinda crazy considering how light the V4 is compared to the H2 😳🤘🏾 #FastLaneGang 🏁

I clean my All black matte finish 2022 Ducati Sfv4s with Renegade Hydro Guard ceramic Spray. It works great and looks outstanding afterwards. It’s easy to apply and Just wipes off easily. Leaving a very nice Looking end result. Hope this helps

I have a matte black cbr1000rr. Mine stays clean usually and it is menacing not gonna lie. Now when it's mist or roads are wet. The bike gets really dirty not gonna lie. Sponge and soap is what I use though.

Fast Lane D you use those products i have told you will be amazed how easy one wipe done
If ya keep some chemical guys quick detail and some micro fibre cloths around u can give it a quick wipe down after u ride , takes like 3 minutes to do it really good. If u get the ceramic one it actually helps keep the dirt off too. Not quite as good as a actual ceramic coating but if u get that done first it’s gonna be staying clean.

Nice bike and I enjoy your channel. I have a Ducati Diavel 1260s in matte black and I use Chemical Brothers Meticulous Matte detailing spray and auto wash, with the Jet Matte sealer to keep my bike flawless. Pro tip I learned is not to use any of the typical detailing sprays of bike wash with waxed based products in them, it will ruin your black matte paint finish. All the be mate, stay safe out in dem streets!
I use a cleaning wax with a haze rag and micro fiber rag to use clean my gloss black bike
Clean it as normal get a good ceramic coating and luke I always do is blow dry it with an air blaster as its better for the bike and not letting it sit wet. But also no water mark's after drying.

For the 5th to 6th gear false neutral issue put the shifter in GP shift mode, zero issues since then.

I have that Matte Black ZX10R if you remember but I always clean my bike with the Original Bike Spirits. It’s great for Matte colors. I’ll bring you a can for you to try. I’m that confident you will like it.

I had a matte stripe on my GT500. I used a spray detailer. Lucas speed wax, it worked well. Or Zymol in the sky-blue bottle
