One of the most popular fellowships within one of the most popular specialties. Hope you enjoy :)
Please do one with a Trauma surgeon next! Thanks
Decades ago I worked in a pediatric orthopedic facility. When ortho residents who really clicked with our population rotated though, they truly stood out and we appreciated them immensely.
I never saw a pediatric ortho as a child but my adult one now is the nicest and one of the most personable providers I've ever had. always asks me about my life and is genuinely curious about me even when his specialty is sports medicine and I'm just a routine clinic patient
I had a student in the OR watching my 2nd ACL reconstruction back in May ‘20. They asked me if I was okay with it when I came in the OR, and I said yes because personally I would want to see that if I was in their shoes. They were also in recovery with me for a little bit and I got to know them once I got more awake. Very nice person, smart as a whip.
I've wanted to be an orthopod since I broke my wrist when I was 11 😂 first time I learn the word- hopefully starting med school in the UK in September and interesting to see I come out as an orthopod the work experience placements is promising though
Also watching this 4:46am 😂😂
ah yes a broken limb at a young age, the classic origin story of an orthopod😂
@@NDMD damm talk about getting exposed 😂
Hey it’s been two years how’s everything going?
I seen orthopaedics surgeons since I was a really young and still do to this day. I have always loved the orthopaedic field.
Rotationplasty... very cool/life-changing but terrifying at the same time. Thanks doc!
Thank you for sharing your story!
Man. Who dislikes this... People can be so mean. I am loving this vids, i practice as a family physician in Colombia, prepping to do medical residency in Spain and then Germany. Ortho surgeon god willing.
These interviews are great! His alternative choice of profession is very on-brand for an orthopod.
Loved this video just like any other I've ever watched from this channel!!! I'd love if you made a video with an oncologist, because this has been my dream job since forever!!!
Been waiting for this one!! 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾
Hope it was worth the wait! Trying to get a general orthopedic surgery resident on soon as well so stay tuned
