  • This waltz was composed in 1829, although it was published posthumously in 1855 by his friend Julian Fontana, together with the Waltz Op. 69, No. 1.
It is one of several works that the composer hoped would be burnt upon his death.
The speed indication is Moderato (medium speed) and, ----- guess the time signature?
(The music begins gently as the two lovers gaze into each others' eyes. However, at 1' 58' the dancing becomes more energetic, but calms down for the major key section. At 3' 18'' the music builds up for the really wild section where the male flings his amore around the room until they collapse onto the floor, exhausted!)
    GlynGlynn, alias GB, realiser.
Please feel free to leave any comments, be they good, bad, or indifferent as to whether the piece, or the performance, moved you in any way whatsoever!
(Since music is an aural art, and not a visual one, it is best to listen to these pieces, and other artists performances, with eyes closed, so as to be able to listen intently as to how the music is portrayed).
