In conclusion, if a skill’s Penetration only activates under specific conditions and isn’t a permanent stat, it won’t stack with Divine Glaive or Malefic Roar. Yeah that why i choose glaive for enemy that have defense item or 1 tank and 2 fighter(exp & jungler), for enemy with 1 tank i rather build mage genius wand and change divine glaive with divine wing/immortality, as mm malefic gun cant be change except enemy dont have tank (build won again assassin and athena again mage)

Even if not practically viable in real time, testing some damage scenarios are pretty fun in itself because you get to know whether something with someone works, and also just fills your curiosity in your free time (maybe). It would be even more hella fun if we include all possible damage factors like War Cry, Focusing Mark, Jawhead's passive, combination of flat & percentage defense reduction as well as penetration from hero skills altogether alongside items, and the other heroes you've mentioned, though it will feel like hell. Overall, great guide!!
i do this, i like to compute damage sometimes lol, especially before Estes' reworked passive, shen you can inherit magic and physical attack, the passive deals 1.5 sometimes, just equip with one holy crystal for multiple mages, then all is tank items, heal the highest magic damage hero then ult, then passive. shit hits likes an mm, if it crits it might hot 4k lol

Hi, I have a question, how do attack effects prioritise each other? If a marksman has dhs and hits an enemy they lose 8% of max hp and the next attack would reduce 8% of the remaining 92% hp of the enemy however what if two allies that use dhs hit an enemy at the exact same time, would that cause a full 16% hp reduction from 100% or would one take priority over the other even if they hit at the same time? Same question for sun if all three clones hit at the same time, would an enemy lose a full 24% hp of 100% hp in one go or would they all count as if they hit at different times and take less hp each hit? Also are attack effects reduced by defence?
I think it's kinda hard for me to do the experiment since I'll need a perfect timing, and I don’t really have friends to test it out. But it seems we can't really deal the damage at an exact time; there will likely still be a delay, even if it's just 0.1s. So yeah, I apologize for that 😅🙏 As for the attack effect, as long as it's not a True Damage, It will be reduced by defence 😁

Speed Based on my experience, if you plan to go sidelane/midlane, it is better to go for Mage Emblem. If you plan to use a certain hero as a jungler, it is better to go Assassin Emblem. For example is Harley (which can be a midlane role or jungler role). Jungler role Harley is better Assassin Emblem because you can get the 10% CDR from Blue Buff, and the Extra Damage and Pen from the Red Buff. Since Junglers tend to use Seasoned Hunter for faster Jungling Speed, the 3% Mov. Speed is a good compensation in order to rotate faster, and if you can kill the Litho then that is better in terms of faster rotation. You can also add the Rupture Talent (+5 Adaptive Pen) and you can get 19 Flat Pen and 10% Percentage Pen (from Red Buff), which is usually enough to try and gain an early game advantage. In addition, before you reach Level 4, you can easily get the extra +10 Magic Pen Boots and that is definitely more than enough penetration to get early game kill with Harley. Midlane Role Harley is better with Mage Emblem. Since you won't get the Jungle Buffs in the early game, the stats of Mage Emblem compensates for the lack of the buffs. Usually, Midlaners will go for Wilderness Blessing Talent instead of Seasoned Hunter so you can rotate to the sidelanes faster so you don't really need the 3% Mov. Speed from Assassin Emblem. You can also add Rupture Talent for +5 Pen and you can get 13 Flat Pen. You can add the boots for +10 Magic Pen for a total of 23 Flat Pen in the early game, and once you hit Level 4 just target squishies to snowball. Using the same hero, let's talk about Thrill (+16 Adaptive Attack) or Rupture (+5 Adaptive Pen). I would consider Harley as a hero that would want to get an early game advantage as he has enough damage to get an easy kill but he is not a hero that scales well in the late game because enemies can easily build defense items to counter. Therefore, I would choose Rupture here for the Harley instead of Thrill. Usually, you will pick Thrill in heroes that are scaling and Rupture for heroes that aren't. For example, Joy is a hero that scales therefore she uses Thrill. Also, so far she's the only hero in the current meta that can use Mage Emblem instead of Assassin Emblem because she doesn't need that 3% Mov. Speed and the extra penetration because of how far her dashes are and Starlium Scythe. Once you get Starlium Scythe, you can deal 216 True Damage from her basic attack (there is an extra 46 Damage that comes from Thrill + Mage Emblem) alone and that doesn't take into consideration the fact that you can easily trigger this True Damage after she dashes. An out of Meta hero that can also do this is Karina and the reasoning is the same as Joy, but Karina can still benefit from Assassin Emblem because she has insane burst potential (plus her base True Damage is 100 due to a recent buff). Now, if you want the best of both worlds... Think if you want extra Mov. Speed or extra CDR. Extra Mov Speed, go Assassin Emblem... 5% Extra CDR go for Mage Emblem. And choose this setup: Mage Emblem: 30 Magic Power 5% CDR 8 Magic Pen (+5 from Rupture Talent) = 13 Magic Pen Assassin Emblem: 14 Adaptive Pen 10 Adaptive Attack (+16 from Thrill Talent) = 26 Adaptive Attack 3% Mov. Speed Now you have the best of both worlds. Whatever you choose will ultimately depend on if you want Mov. Speed or CDR, and the damage output will become negligible in the end. That's basically it

It depends, but I always choose the 'Mage Emblem' since it provides 8 Penetration (not as high as 'Assassin Emblem'). It also gives me 5% CD, which is nice. As for 'Assassin Emblem', I use it for my Vale to further boost his MSPD 🤣🤣
