I can really relate to your story. My best friend turned Born Again Christian. She was a devotee of Mama Mary, the rosary and we went to the Baclaran Church together always. To my disappointment one time when I saw her when I arrived from working overseas. I can't believe it, but it happened. As my best friend I listened to her story why she converted to be BAC. And as expected she invited me to go with her in their so called church. And it looks like it's a small bodega behind the Binondo Church, with a small pulpit for the pastor and a set of musical instruments. During the service I was really disturbed internally because I hate to hear the pastor shouting during his sharing of the Word to think that it's just a small bodega room plus a microphone and a shouting voice, I really wanted to break out 🤦 Then, one PASTORA came later to me and talked to me. And here it came all of the attacks against tha Catholic Church which I experienced first time: The Catholic Pope is the 666, it added books in the Bible, the rebultos are dyos-dyosan, we Catholics are paganos, and that I should be born again to be saved. Without a deeper knowledge of our Catholic Faith, I can't refute the Pastora against her fallacies. And I told her, I am a faithful Catholic, no matter what you say, I will never leave my faith. But I will look at all your attacks and will study about it. Later I can give you answers. And that's the beginning of me studying our Catholic faith and I was involved in Apologetics before from 2013 up to 2017 in the Online Catholic Faith Defenders debate and explanation of the faith on Facebook. Until I attended the 2017 CFD Convention in Manila. I learned so much from my involvement there and I have all the answers already to the attacks of the Pastora. But at that time, I was working in Malaysia, I can't get closer to my bestfriend to help explain to her our Catholic faith and bring her back. What I did was I prayed the Holy Rosary for her conversion everyday. I asked the Blessed Mother to help my best friend come back to her and the Catholic faith. And to my amazement one day, my best friend told me that she wants her 2nd baby to be baptized in the Catholic faith. I was really crying for joy at that time. Mama Mary did amazing work again. By best friend's 2nd baby was baptized in the Catholic faith, I became the ninang and she came back to the faith. Everytime I share this experience of mine, I could not hold my tears to burst. Mama Mary is truly a mother who cares. I am a living witness. And the Catholic Church is the only True Church founded by the Lord Jesuschrist. Praise be to God 🙏🙏🙏
I was baptized a catholic & went to a catholic church. We were taught bible verses & explained them to us but we were not forced to memorize. This is why I was never swayed or even doubtedmy faith. The born again christians don't have confession & Holy Eucharist. Not even the 10 commandments. That is an empty religion unlike my religion which is Catholicism.

Two things I noticed that are very similar re: conversion stories of Protestants coming home to the Catholic Church: 1. They all are very grateful for their Protestant roots. Each had a very rich spiritual life as a Protestant, and eventually their journey led them to finding a “fuller Truth”, 2. their wall of hostility towards Catholic beliefs are broken down by encountering pious Catholics who are not only believers but followers of Christ. This strengthened my conviction to live my life as a witness to my Faith in our Triune God ❤️
Yes! God bless you both. When i was in college, born-again schoolmates invited me too and bombarded with various question about our faith like confession, Mama Mary etc. that i felt crying because i grow up with the faith. I left the group and never joined them again. I love my Catholic faith!❤

The theology of the born - again is anchored on sowing hate and lies against the Catholic Church. I have been there in their fold before and the first verses that I had to memorize were verses, that we think, could inflict the greatest harm to the Catholic Church. Never did we touch about the history and origin of Christ' Church, and the story, teachings and faith of the early Church. It took me deep contemplation, reasoning and prayers to finally decide that converting to born-again was not even worth a penny.

I watched your interview with Adrian Milag. It was very inspiring. I Encouraged relatives to watch it. Thank you Lord for bringing Bro Bernz back to the Catholic faith. It is true that Filipinos are sacramentalized but not taught the catechism of the Church.
