    "Dude, where's Buchegg Trail?" Well, I lost my footage of that one...
    But here is another full, raw POV run (not by me): ruclips.net/video/dsrCqtHTP3c/видео.html
    It's the easy flow-trail leading down to Hinterglemm. It starts at the end of Hacklberg Trail and Bergstadl Trail (right at the Westgipfel gondola middle station).

    Hi and thanks for the great videos! I am planning my first trip to Leogang this August and would appreciate a few tips. Is the bike pass that's available online on the Saalfelden-Leogang site only valid for the bike park Leogang, or the entire region (it's very confusing on the website)? I will be travelling with my gf who is more of a begginer, rides a decent XC hardtail, but is not much in to the downhill aspect, do you think this could be a problem for her regarding route diversity? Thank you in advance for your response and great blog post!

      Great idea man!
      Unless I've missed it, there is no ticket for those two combined.
      Just a season pass for austria and a bit of germany, italy, switerland etc.
      You can just take 1 lift ride in the other region.
      BUT the transfer between Leogang and Saalbach is pretty bad. A huge time sink and not worth it for 1 run.
      Instead, see if you can stay in both regions for a day or more.
      Leogang has 1 long beginner blue line and a skill area, while Saalbach has a couple blue trails you could ride with an XC bike. But with transfers between gondolas, you'll have to pedal a bit on a DH bike.
      Both are highly recommended tho! 2 of the best MTB regions in Austria.
      Hope this helps

      @@SuspensionTraveler Thanks very much for the reply! After some research it seems to me that, like you also said, the Saalbach and Leogang regions are also connected via the gondolas and trails. It's fine, I don't mind getting some pedalling in 😃 I ride a rather light trail bike so I'm sure we'll manage. Thanks a lot for the response and keep up the amazing videos! 🙏

    Are you shooting with the GoPro 11 in this video?

    • @SuspensionTraveler
      @SuspensionTraveler  Год назад

      Nope, that was still all on the DJI Action 2.
      which looks just like the OA 3 imo.
      Unless you turn on HDR mode.

      @@SuspensionTraveler it seems to me that action 2 shoots better than action 3 :)

      I did quite a bit of color grading and editing here 😉 so you could get the 3 to look like this no problem.

    My new goal is to get your setup and hopefully similar video quality. The riding part is too far for my capabilities for now :).

    • @SuspensionTraveler
      @SuspensionTraveler  Год назад

      Hah, that's a cool goal! 🤘 I believe anyone can get quality video of their own MTB rides. It just takes minimal research and some trial and error.
      Your riding skills will follow over time. Spoiler: I've been riding for a long time now ;)

    Hey there again, i'd like to go to Saalbach this year with my son. The only problem i got is that i have absolutely no idea where to start?! Like where's the starting point? Hotel, Airbnb...etc not too far away from the trails... Maybe you could help me out when u got a lil bit of free time. I'd really appreciate it. 👍👍

    • @SuspensionTraveler

      I got you! It's a little tricky there for first timers. That's why I wrote an entire article, my guide to Saalbach-Hinterglemm:
      suspensiontraveler.com/saalbach-hinterglemm-bike-destination-guide/
      TL;DR: Pick a Hotel near your favorite trails for convenience. Depending on how experienced your son is at MTB, Panorama Trail in Saalbach is a good starting point.
