- Bullying storyline from the 6 April 2011 episode of OLTL.
In which Rex goes balistic. Jack is still a jerk and growing. And, for crying out loud, Blair! That does not make you a bully.

Every single time I watch this, it brings tears to my eyes.
I know what it's like to be where Shane is, and I think that Austin did such a phenomenal job portraying every moment and every scene that Shane went through.
I miss this show so incredibly much - the One Life To Live before the internet episodes. They had so many things to teach and lessons to be learned. I wish it would come back
These three have such great chemistry together as a family, Rex, Gigi, Shane. I wonder what it was like off screen, and if they are still in touch today.

Some of the lesser characters had some meaty story with this story. Rex, Gigi and Shane shined here, Blair put her foot down with Jack, with some able help from Starr. Beautifully done and very timely.

I love how protective Rex is but the way he says “Myface” makes me laugh
I love watching Rex shout at Sinclair and the rest of them. It is such unbelievably good acting on the actor's part.
Good for Shane for chastising the assistant principal for the school's allowing the bullying to take place. Where are any teachers or administrators in the gym where so many kids were totally unsupervised when they were taunting Shane? Jack should have been arrested for his crimes. If the show were still on the air, I would hope that it would focus on Shane in college, enjoying classes, dating, extracurricular activities, and having positive experiences as a well-adjusted adult.
Great acting by Rex, Gigi, Shane and Jack!! Well done!
Starr was an extremely annoying kid, rude and disrespectful. But at least most of the shenanigans and schemes that she pulled was because she wanted her parents together and to be a normal family with a mom and dad both under one roof. It's all she ever really wanted. She had a heart and she cared about helping people. Jack, on the other hand, is just a big jerk. He obviously doesn't care about anyone else's feelings besides his own and that makes him 50 times worse than Starr.

Jack deserves to go to prison for cyber bullying Shane Morasco and for what he supposedly did to Gigi. he shouldn't have been so nasty to Starr and Blair.

Zachary Farber, I agree with you. There are still bullying in 2020 and even 2021 during COVID-19. It does happened in Madison Wisconsin for racial bullying recently.

It reminded me of a line JP said when he was about to get his head shaved, because Shane was going to lose his hair from the chemo therapy, 'There is nothing...I won't do.. for my son.' And he said 'nothing' with a very sharp tone.
How can someone be so cruel? I hate bullies!! No one deserves to be treated like that. I kinda get why Jack turned out like this. I mean look at his parents. I found it funny how mad Blair got when she slapped Jack. I know it's not good to hit your kids but if my son turned out anything like Jack I would do a hell of a lot more than slap him.

Cancelling this show was the most stupidest thing that ABC ever did. That and moving Once Upon A Time to Friday nights and then cancelling it after 7 seasons (which is a good long run for a show like that).

How is Rex crazy? His son was tormented for months! They wrote HORRIBLE things about him on the web, got him suspended, Stole his inhaler and Shane almost died, stole his clothes and put a naked video of him on the web, and Shane just tried to KILL HIMSELF! and Rex is crazy!
Man if they had to make a storyline like this why couldn't they do it on general hospital. Like morgan, can u inmagine what Sonny and Michael would do to his bully
jason morgan because no one would be dumb enough to actively bully the son of the local mob boss who kills people, they would have been told to stay away - Shane gets bullied because he is a kid who is an outsider and is not rich or powerful, nobody would go after Morgan because he comes from money and influence, his father is a mob boss and his at one time stepfather was a business tycoon. Morgan comes from wealth, he wouldn't get bullied in school.
Kristina was bullied after Alexis killed Kiefer for beating her by a few girls, keifer's dad and his friend Bryce who also harassed Michael and picked fights with him just like Kiefer did.
They had an ongoing storyline when Charlotte picked on her cousin Aiden for months, *SPOILER ALERT:* Charlotte apologized to Aiden.

I some what agree nowadays some people use that abuse others and torment people but I have my own Samsung cell phone so I don't have any intentions of harassing anyone with that kinda craziness I don't anticipate on doing sick unnecessary things outta rage or outta malice just to hurt others.I only use my internet items for entertainment and for idealistic features for work at those moments really.But that crazy stuff is for immature self centered pussies and assholes not me.That type of stuff is for pussies who have nothing better to do not me bruh I'm too good to be a bully I already made that mistake a few times so I ain't making that mistake again.

Why isn't Jack in prison for this? Isn't Shane like 14. And he posted a video of him naked online? Isn't that called distributing child pornography? And I am pretty sure that is a crime. Wow sex offenders don't fall far from the tree.

Blair is being way too hard on herself. She has done far nastier things to people then just slap them and never expressed remorse yet she slaps her evil offspring once and acts like she's Joan Crawford. It's much more realistic for a soap charecter to lose control a bit and slap a teen then to always cry and beg them to change.

Demi lovato Message was getting out and was getting help from one life to live bullying needs to end. i know how it feels to be bullied. but i never try to kill myself. i am proud of myself that i never went that far

Yeah, but in this case Starr was right, because what Jack was doing to Shane was not ok & he was being a jerkass about it because he was being forced to answer for it was even less ok. Jack was just trying to make himself look less guilty than he actually is and Starr said it best "This is not about me"

I don't know why, but around 5:00, when Rex started talking about suing a whole slew of people. Mostly affiliates of Jack's, for some reason I appreciate that he didn't list Starr, Jack's sister. As we saw how distressed Starr was about Jack bullying Shane.
Cruel? It is a sex crime of the most teenage fashion. I highly recommend a "Scared Stiff" session for all those kids. Go to the soap central boards, in the OLTL section, and lookup "Question about Jack and what his punishment should be". Checkout the response from Fan of JaM to see what I stand by.
When you don't teach ur kids shame then they don't properly empathize. You can't feel truly sorry if you don't also feel shame at ur actions.

+greenlee7smythe I disagree Shaun and Destiny are fine actors. KDP rocked these scenes but I kept wanting her to hit Jack harder.
