I get that completely. I just like to listen to what each of them has to say because they take their time out to get up there and that is a courageous thing to do for anyone. So it is in my character to do my best to hear them out and not focused on an attack but resolutions. Resolutions is what is missing in politics these days. Like a never ending soap opera sometimes

@@bingo720 My rent in Alberta is over 1500/month and in income tax alone it costs me double that. Include GST, fuel taxes, etc. and it's ridiculous. This is in one of the lower-taxed provinces in Canada. It's not easy starting out as a young professional in Canada, let alone just trying to make ends meet.

I'm personally not a conservative, but I can definitely agree with Mr. Poilievre's message here. "We see the problem, and we'll solve the problem, but please be civil." is a really refreshing change. If he can follow through and can back up these promises - and I really do hope he can - I won't care if he's a conservative or not.

he's right. But I would add how much the price of gas and diesel is affecting our food prices, knowing that they are planning to increase the taxes. We had to make a choice between heat and using the car to get groceries. and the tax is increasing on both.

It's easy to answer questions when you are not the one in power. If he got elected the only time you would hear from that Vermon is when he is taking away more social programs, hospital rooms, and teachers.
I am hopeful for Pierre as well. However it's easy to think that he will answer questions when he is the one asking all of them.
I truly do hope he is different. But time will tell. The realist side of me expects to see more of the same - political non answers when he is in office, which is not a reflection of Pierre, just a lack of accountability any of our politicians have in this system.
