I was there last Sunday. You must try their clam chowder. It was the best in town 👍 Unfortunately they took out grill Octopus from their menu. I haven't get a chance to try.
My favorite way to have oysters on the half shell is with a squeeze of lemon, some mignonette, and a dash of hot sauce! I don’t know why, but I despise muscles. Maryland crab cakes are so much better broiled in butter! I’m from the east coast.
They probably didn't overcook the lobster the way most restaurants do if it was tender. If truth be told you only need to cook them until the brown shell turns red which might only be 5 minutes.... compared to 20 or 30 minutes like most places do which turns it into rubber.
Do you know where the history of the restaurant's name came from? It's an old joke. A fisherman in the South was accused of using dynamite to catch fish. He would toss a stick of dynamite into the lake or river which killed a lot of fish who came floating to the top. A fish and game officer was assigned to ride along with him in order to catch him in the act. Out in the water, the fish and game officer saw a box of dynamite and accused the fisherman of illegally killing fish...The man reached down and grabbed a stick of dynamite, lit it and handed it to the officer, then said, "Are you going to fish or talk all day?" 🤣
