Before the video even starts I'm going with Prolite 👍🏼 prolite definitely has the speed. DV1 might slightly atomize better but slow as hellllllll. 🤙🏼🤙🏼

I have both. I just sold the DV1. The proLite is so good, i didnt need a DV. Going for a Porphis 717 next out of curiosity
....damn i hope the wife doesn't see this 😂

@@WonTooForAte9 prolite is a wicked spray gun that is easy to get on with 👍I prefer the dv1 for the bigger fan and nicer trigger 😉

@@dredfxcustompaint absolutely, I loved the DV1. Just decided to pass it on. I seal with my tekna copper 1.3 te10 and base with it. Lays out great. Then swap the te10 cap to my prolite for clear. I get outstanding results that way. That Porphis may move the prolite to base...and that boggles my mind for a china gun.

@@WonTooForAte9 the te10 cap puts a great finish down on clear and base I totally understand where your coming from when you say about the Chinese gun

I've always used Devilbiss & obviously tried most other guns too but always stuck with Devilbiss, I now use the T110 pro lite for smaller jobs and the T20 for 2k gloss but now using the DV1 all the time with the C2cap 1.3 for clear & B+ 1.2 for base and getting better and better results now I've got really used to it, anyone that says the DV1 is slow must be in a real hurry that's all I can say

Interesting video Rob, I have the T110 on my ProLite and the C1 on my DV1 and the finish from both of them is pretty much the same plus it's hard to split them speed wise as the C1 cap is slower than the C2.
I got the C2 cap to speed the DV1 up but IMO the finish is more peeley similar to the TE20 on the ProLite👍

Great video, what clear coat do you use to get the flattest finish.

Awesome video rob i agree with you both are great but it only comes down to the nut holding the trigger.😂
I like the DV1 over the prolite as well but I’ve put a 1.4 in the DV1 clear and base and it’s much faster gun without losing the advantage of the flat finish with the C2 you should give it a try if you get the chance.

Thank you totally agree 👍 yes the 1.4 in the dv1 would be nice to try
