Eugene took the game over after the first set. First set he lost but figured him out. Then started using his gameplay, fast pace in second set and then slow pace in third. Good strategy. Eugene is best player in canada for a reason.
Eugene spent the first set getting used to the spin and pace, returning balls without taking risks and dian was able to use same pace strokes and placement to win. Second set eugene went for full stroke counters with alot of pace surprised dian because he is expecting same pace returns. Third set eugene slows down and instead of overpowering everything goes off tempo slow randomly, dian is expecting power rallies like the second set and ends up hitting too hard and blowing the ball off the table.
key here is the third set opening, eugene starts off very fast exactly like the second set tricking opponent into thinking he will continue the third set strategy, but the next 3 points he suddenly slows down everything
Dude you got great voice and I have been over other videos in your channel and it obvious that you know this sports. I am from India and I play this sport too, not on a pro level by any stretch of imagination. Having said that, how about you start commentary on these videos, trust me it would really sound nice. Give it a try, no harm right..Kudos by the way!!!
Thanks so much for the compliment. You're right, there really isn't any harm. My style of commentary revolves more around asking pretty simple questions because I'm pretty new to the sport. I'm looking to commentate with a high level player who likes to talk about it.
Eugene spends the first set downloading his opponent, then he unzipped the archive between sets, and by the start of set 2 it was already over. That's how high level players do it, they can play their game with minimum modifications required against anyone. Unlike me who ends up playing the opponent's game every single time with predictable results. This is way I really hate the best-of-5 trend, in a bo5 you can't afford to lose the first set as easily, so you have less time to download and unpack, which results in a lower quality of the game.
very good asdf description
Thank you so much! I wasn't quite sure if I should go thr qwerty route and went back and forth about this.v
Omg game 3

I am using a smart phone. Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra. It's an older phone but it has a great camera and expandable storage.
Its funny on first minute kid coming to pick up ball under Eugene feet during the game )))

11 vs 0 game 3!
I'm curious to know what dianrens thoughts are about this match. I know he can play much better. He's a great player.
They refuse to give the kid his ball
Eugene doesnt practice much now as he has his own club and his student to look after
Well team Canada should be in great hands then!
