Yep. I started belching up puke. Andb kept trying to swallow mouthful but there was so much wretch I covered my mouth with my hand and it started spraying out the sides of my hand from the pressure. And I sat in fear making this huge mess.
And everyone is “ like get outside!! “ “ go to the trash or the bathroom”
Someone say “why is he holding his hand over his mouth spraying the vomit everywhere it would be more contained if he just barfed normally”
Just people saying rude mean things.

I scrolled down and found the video(s) and he has adapted well! The shell even got better! It doesn't even look that much sunken in💓

This is one of my worst fears when taking care of animals 😔
Also since the shell is deformed, will it cause problems for the baby tortoise?
I don’t think it will cause problems when it’s older. Now it might but I still don’t believe so. I don’t own a tortoise but I have two turtles with deformed shells and it doesn’t affect them

#5's name should be Shelly, a reminder to what happened when it hatched.
Shouldn't name tortoises like that until they're at least a month old. they have a High mortality rate, so you'll just hurt yourself naming them.

I had a baby tortoise that couldn’t open his eyes and always opening his mouth trying to breathe, we tried everything but in the end he sadly passed, his name was Mikey btw, I was really sad but may he Rest In Peace.
