Matt and stack thanks for the consistent content. Love it. Please get Nelly on the pod, he’s in his golden years he’s responsible for how the game is played today, need to give him his flowers.
What were Golden State thinking trading this guy. The team they could've had with Hardaway, Mitch, Webber, Mullin, possibly Sprewell as well. Could've been the best team in the West.
Bulls vs Lakers on Sega Genesis!! First game with the Golden State Warriors on it! You couldn’t see me on it! Tim at pg Mitch sg Mullin Sf Sarunas PF Rod Higgins at Center. I shot all threes and pressed on defense! Mitch was one of the best on the game! I’m from Oakland so this is a special pod for me! Thanks y’all!
Man o man, I remember those Sacramento days like yesterday. Going to college in Sac., going to the runs in the summer at the Salvation Army! Gus assigning teams, playing some of the best players from all overseas. Kevin Johnson coming home and stopping in at St. Hope Academy were I worked. Wish I could have those days back!!
Tim Kawakami had an article out on how they were in on KG. He was their missing piece, the Warriors lost to Utah in the semis because Boozer bodies them on the interior. Baron, Monta, Stack, KG would’ve been deadly
Jordan said Richmond was his toughest cover in the ‘90s. He was probably disregarding Drexler a bit with those comments, but honestly Mitch was able to score in more ways and was stronger than Clyde. The Glide was the better overall player, but the Rock may have been the better scorer.
Nah, Mike wasn't disregarding clyde when he said that. When Mike gave mitch props it was in 96-97. At the point mitch was the 2nd best 2 guard in the NBA. Clyde was still solid but mitch was clearly a better player than clyde at that point. Remember when clyde got traded to Houston, he was coming off nagging injuries & rod Strickland was now Portland main Priority. Mitch was the 2nd best 2 guard in the NBA from 93-94 season til he got traded to wizards in 98. So Mike's compliments were warranted. Yes people, MITCH RICHMOND>>>REGGIE MILLER! 😊
I went to HS in Fort Lauderdale from the Bahamas to be like Mitch The Rock Richmond......lol I got booted from his HS Boyd Anderson and went to the rival Dillard High. Was going to take over the PG role from this guy that made it to the NBA Keyon Dooling. My ma dukes threw a wrench in all that and moved me to NYC. Now I do music lol
Nelly was way ahead of his time. The drinking perhaps, may have come from frustration, as far as people not seeing his vision of small ball. In theory, he didn't want Webber, he wanted Penny. Possible line up 1&2 - Hardaway boys 3- Sprewell 4- Mullins 5- Billy Owens Decent line up fit for todays game
Respectfully why is Mitch Richmond in the Hof? He was a good player but I personally don't think he should be in there over Bill Laimbeer, Tim Hardaway, Shawn Kemp, and Horace Grant just to name a few.
Shawn Kemp isn't in the Hall of Fame and neither is Horace Grant. And Shawn Kemp is derserving of it for a stretch of 2-3 years he was arguably 1 of the best PF in the league. But Mitch definitely should be in the Fame, especially if Mullin and Hardaway his former Golden State teams are in.
One of the most underrated players to ever lace them up. Mitch was a DAWG

Mitch was a bad man.
Man o man, I remember those Sacramento days like yesterday. Going to college in Sac., going to the runs in the summer at the Salvation Army! All man I was always a fan of him I got my drive to the hole from him. Mix with A.I. and a Post Man fade away shot. Man I miss those days.
Gratitude
Man can you imagine Run TMC and Webb???? Or We Believe and KG???? We would be creeping up on Lakers and Boston for most chips
Bruh chillll😂
Tim Kawakami had an article out on how they were in on KG. He was their missing piece, the Warriors lost to Utah in the semis because Boozer bodies them on the interior. Baron, Monta, Stack, KG would’ve been deadly

The Rock
Young folks - check out Mitch. He was no joke in the '90s. Played for crap Sac team and got no hype but he was a real one.

"You didn't rock with dk?" AAAYOOOO
Active shooter in the building. My guy was dangerous
One of the most controversial additions to the HOF.
Mitch The Rock Richmond. Tough. Gave MJ some problems match up wise.
Jordan

very underrated player in the 90s. He was like the west coast MJ

Mitch was cold at Kansas and in the NBA. Betta ask somebody.
He was at Kansas State not Kansas. He was cold in college tho!
I went to HS in Fort Lauderdale from the Bahamas to be like Mitch The Rock Richmond......lol I got booted from his HS Boyd Anderson and went to the rival Dillard High. I thought this was Mike Tomlin when I seen the cover photo. But Mitch was a problem when he played 🔥🔥🔥
Who’s Mitch talking to off screen @48:15 ?
Jelani McCoy
RUN TMC is the Most Equal BiG 3 All Time. Each player is arguably better than the next. Can’t say that about any other big 3
He was the only hooper with my name lol so I always was on the Mitch Richmond bandwagon
Mitch could do everything that MJ could do but MJ was just a tad faster, stronger, quicker, higher, taller and bigger.
why is it age restricted
Nelly was way ahead of his time. The drinking perhaps, may have come from frustration, as far as people not seeing his vision of small ball. In theory, he didn't want Webber, he wanted Penny. Possible line up
1&2 - Hardaway boys
3- Sprewell
4- Mullins
5- Billy Owens
Decent line up fit for todays game
When yall getting Nelly on the show
Believe it or not I wanted to play like Michael Jordan Allen Iverson and Mitch Richmond
Domontas Sabonis Sr.?
Ritchmond was a problem. People forget that squad they had w/ Hardaway, Mitch, and Tim hardaway was fire
