Meredith, remind LB to get the brake pads replaced before the old pads start making metal to metal contact. If you let that go, you will damage the rotors and have to spend more money 💵 to replace rotors and brake pads.
We used to have that same drill and it was hard to get the seeding rate set right. I found that if you open it up past the number you want it set to and then close it down to the number it will be more accurate. I hope that makes sense to you and Lawrence. He might already be doing it that way too. Those foam markers are also very temperamental! My cousin does the spraying and he finally gave up and bought a light bar gps setup and that thing is sweet!

Hey farmer, tip for you. ALWAYS wipe the tip of the grease fitting before you put the grease gun on it. Tiny pieces of debris does go past the little spring loaded ball and then will turn your grease into a fine sand paper ruining your bearings. Always wipe the tip before you grease and after cause neatness counts and dirt can’t stick to the grease left on the fitting.
Also keep the tip of the grease gun free of dirt and debris.
You are correct. We always wipe grease fittings before greasing. It takes less time than changing a bearing in the middle of harvest or planting season.
Your right with wiping off the grease fittings before and after greasing and something we always did was clean and grease equipment before putting it up mainly the planter and combine, grain cart and the Krone baler preventative maintenance is a must to limiting break downs in my opinion.
I remember her first time she tried moiwing that property long tima ago. :)

Meredith. Here's a trick how you can actually put a microphone on Lawrence, so we can hear him. I've noticed that Lawrence usually has his phone in his top shirt pocket. Turn Phone on and set it to record video. You don't care anything about the video portion What you want is the audio portion. The next time Lawrence and Wesley are working on something, have Wesley hang a drone up over them, not too high, he could play with it. He'll find the right height, about 8 or 10 feet above them. Turn Lawrence's phone on like I said. And when you get back to the video editor take the audio portion out of the phone and parallel track it with the video portion from the drone.
In the Video Editor you will want to separate or delink the audio from the video From the phone. Then in the Video Editor delete the video portion from the phone. You will end up with the audio from the phone and the video from the drone. Works quite well once you figure it out, But I bet you can do it.
PS: My Video Editor allows for 4 audio tracks to be laid in parallel with one another. So if you decide to do this, have Wesley Put his phone in his pocket also, and you'll capture the entire father and son conversation.

Meredith!! Make your own mayo! It’s so easy! All you need is an egg, oil, vinegar and salt and pepper. An immersion blender is helpful but a regular blender will work too 😊
When I farmed I never learned how to farm clean, lordy it got all over me. I could walk in the local store and everyone would laugh at me. No ac on combine and 7 tractors and a Roanoke 2 row tobacco cropper..

I went to GPS for spraying....best thing ever...even if I didn't use it for anything else...it still have to be for the sprayer
Use a nylon stocking on the end of the foam marker to see if that makes foam that is what we used to do

I know I've made the suggestion before but what if you put a 3/4 bulk fitting on the top of your tank will the street 90 schedule 80 closed nipple to a 3/4 threaded flapper valve with a 3/4 pipe to hose male adapter swivel. If you install that you would never lose more than a half a cup of water from the fitting. You will not never have to worry about timing it or something that distracted you and caused it to overspill. One are the thought have you thought about taking off one of the nozzles on the sprayer using an air compressor to back pressure the line blowing out any debris getting to an in the system. That would be on your sprayer is what I'm talking about

yup foam markers are so finicky, lightbar gps is quite easy, and some of the autosteer is pretty straight forward even i learned how
McDonald's special sauce is thousand island dressing according to someone I knew. I use to keep a bottle in the fridge just for on burgers.

Make homemade mayonnaise. Olive oil, eggs, lemon juice, mustard. Blend together.

he aint the only one with seeding rates. I planted 40 acres of orchard grass last year didnt not and still dont understand the seed chart. tried to set it at 10lbs per acre ended up planting 50lbs in 2 acres. then I put it too deep in the ground and none of it came up.

There is a an inexpensive GPS called OnTrak. It is around $ 1500. You can set the width on either side. It basically “paints” the area you have covered.
It is made in England. The system is for use on small or large areas. I highly recommend it
