anyways, if you think about it the US kind of replaced Britain. Britain used to have the #1 economy, military etc but now those titles go to the USA. obviously Britain isn't irrelevant or useless but it definitely isn't as great as it used to be. what used to be the biggest and most powerful empire has now been reduced to a small island nation, and everyone's attention is on its former colony.
