Day old braids means the scalp is still very tender and woman usually feel most comfortable in labour with their hair up and away from their face, so yeah thats the context you need. Shes not braiding her hair shes putting it in a bun

Labor pains is one of the worst pains that I’ve ever experienced! Women are definitely strong physically!❤
Pain from kidney stones is worse than natural birth. Imagine labor pains as continuous contractions without breaks in between😱
Nothing has compared to my back to back labours where my body freaks out and wouldn’t have a break between contractions.
Laboured for six days and four days with my babies and had the same happened with both. Sadly it stresses baby out too because they’re so intense.
I don’t feel like I’m strong no more, that shit humbled me. I wish I was one of those women who enjoy labour or just get through it but sadly not. 😮💨

Good tip, as the pain can induce labor early and the baby may be porn pre mature. Everyone has different pain tolerances, it’s good to just think about the baby first 🫶🏽🙏🏽❤️

6 years ago, I once got braids, they were nicely done, The mother, grandmother, and granddaughter all worked on my hair for faster results, $180 plus 20 tip. I was literally tearing up, felt like I was going to have a stroke, I immediately came home 🏡 cut them out, washed my hair and went to sleep 😴. I declare I will never do that again! 🙏🏽

I'm white and am SO tender headed. Never used to be but all of a sudden am. I can't imagine wearing brains. I get a headache if I wear sunglasses for too long!! i most CERTAINLY cared because I don't like pain... I breathed through it. It helped. Like I said tensing up makes it hurt more. breathing through it and accepting the pain for what it is allows you to relax more and the pain can be bearable when you dont fight against your body and work with your body@@lgapch14

I've never had anyone mess with any part of me when I've been in labor especially not my hair. More power to her. She will look gorgeous after she gives birth unlike me who just wanted to sleep. 1st baby my labor lasted over 40 hours and the baby weighed 10lbs, 2nd baby my labor was 2 pains and the baby came and weighed 9 lbs and my 3rd baby the labor had to be induced and it was about 4 hours and the baby weighed 7lbs and no more babies! Three are enough 2 girls and 1 boy!

know that’s painful . them contractions ain’t no joke ! i was in that hospital screaming at the top of my lungs everytime they came . by the time i had that last one i yelled “somebody get the doctor bc i’m about to push , i can’t wait no more” luckily the doctor came in right after , checked my cervix & said “we’re about to have a baby” i was soo relieved !
I told my hubby "YOU" gonna feel EVERY CONTRACTION...I'm not gonna feel this pain without you feeling it TOO! Give me your hand...it was A TRANSFER OF ENERGY! He was "down on his knee in the delivery room with EVERY! CONTRACTION!! He "thought" I broke his HAND!...🤣😂🤣...child birth is NO JOKE!...😉😊

@@lawannagustave9684….😅 my husband had on a turtleneck sweater. Every time I had a contraction I grabbed that turtleneck and twist it so hard he had a red ring around his neck that looked like a carpet burn.
The first and only time I screamed is when I said…..”this baby is comiiinnng”! And he was. The doctor and nurses were running down the hall with me to the delivery room. My little son’s head was in position. Back then they didn’t have the labor and delivery room as one. The labor and delivery room were separate.
